Yay! I am looking forward to another season of LITW.!!But, boy, they sure aren't churning them out like Sweet Home Alabama. Wonder why they are only doing one a year??

The cost of producing this show might be more then a show like Sweet Home Alabama that stays mostly in one place/city. That is my guess.

I'm glad that both couples are still going strong. At least I think they're all still together, since Sam moved to be with Mike in SF; and Heather and Miles are still racking up their flyer miles (went to a football game in Oregon, where Heather went to college in early December).

I wish I'd seen the info about the auditions. There's someone at my work who might try it. She went for an interview for this Bachelor show but never got around to doing a video.

I may watch the next season. I saw part of a show and thought it looked dumb but if they're having some successes it could be worth checking out.

Actually, Bean, I'd think you'd really like it. It is less forced by the producers...or so it seems. The couples seem to make a genuine connection and the stress of the adventure either draws them together or forces them apart. Frankly, I give these couples more of a chance of making it in the real world than the Bachelor/B'ette couples. Plus none of them appeared to have an underlying motive of wanting fame...at least from season 1.

Back to my previous question about why so few shows a year - would it be that much more expensive than Bachelor/ette? We get two of those a year if you count both and we only get one LITW? I seemed pretty short, but they did have to fly all the people out of country - but then it was just one country and not multiple countries like Bachelor/ette?? Just seems like in today's fast-paced world, you might lose a lot more of your audience if you wait so long to have another show. Lots of short attention spans. Just my thoughts AND justification to have more episodes of LITW in a year.

Which network is it with? I know that NBC is not doing great in the ratings, so that may be why there wasn't anything filmed too fast? If it's CBS, I'm not getting it.

It was NBC.

I really enjoyed this show last season. It was easy to tell which ones were there really to find someone and those that were there just to hook up as much as they could. It was kind of like survivor, tar and bachelor all rolled up together.
