What is this pile of steaming horse manure? I'm going to watch the father future son-in-law talk now... I really hope this isn't what happens because if it is, it makes Emily look horrid. Could you imagine fan reaction after seeing a scenario transpire like this. "I couldn't have my first pick, so I guess I'll choose you if I must." WHAT????

It sounds looney but who knows with this show. It would be like watching DeAnna pick Jesse when everyone saw she loved Graham - but much more openly and possibly, pragmatically (?). Seeing as how she is so image conscious, I can't see her doing this though. Even if they positioned it - that it was for the best and somehow all worked out in the end - the blowback would be brutal.

What if Jef were the one to end it? They've built that possibility into his storyline.

I agree that, if any switcheroo were to occur this season, it would either be a mutual decision or by Jef's hand and with his blessing. Emily, IMO, could not endure the backlash that Molly and Jason experienced. In the most ideal situation, she'd be made into Melissa Rycroft 2.0.

I could almost buy into this except that it is obvious the Jef is crazy for her in his tweets on Monday. I mean, could he scream it any louder that they were together. JMO. It will definitely be crazy to see what happens. Is it Sunday yet?

Literally, Cathy Rehl or whomever in ABC PUblicity cut and pasted from Jason's press release "emotions run high", etc. with the exceptions being (a) Ty was spoiled to have met the girls, and (b) Jason had spilled the beans on engagement within a week or two of returning in a random Seattle TV interview. Here, Emily had made such a show about whether Ricki could meet Brad on her season, she had to continue that farce for her season to the end. (The hard choice IMO is whether to allow your child's image to be displayed on primetime TV, not whether having made that choice she can be filmed on a play date with two great guys -- it's 100% about her image as MOTHER as always, not about Ricki's actual welfare). But I digress. It's in the Bach Media thread from last night, and it was really interesting stuff.

The promo for the finale airing says "with an unbelievable ending that even Emily didn't see coming." If you watch CH on Jimmy Kimmel last night, I think whatever happens is BIG! I just don't know what it could be though. I have my scenarios, but I posted it in the Confirmed F1 thread and they are just guesses. However, MF has promised a "shock", so we'll see if we are shocked or not. CH told JK that it was going to be good. Of course, with CH & MF and company, I don't know if he means "good" for Emily or for good tv ratings.
