Ryan Bowers - Bachelorette 8 - Discussion

Sorry for my rant...having competed in many levels of gymnastics and dance competitions over the years, I have a small insight into what they have gone through. Thought, I gave it up after realizing that I was tired of sacrificing everything, had lost it being a driving force in my heart (it was more work than fun) and wanted a life instead of sticking with and perusing it through college on scholarship. I've also always been competitive in sports, especially soccer...and grew up with a Dad as a coach. I know it all takes dedication, sacrifice and heart! I do see his side...but for some reason, I have more sympathy for these Olympians than I do a pro football player running his mouth at the moment.

So, yes...tape his mouth shut for me tonight Veggie! Before I stick him in a corner or out in the dog house for a day or two! I'll be all better in a little while...if I wasn't so sad for the USA men's gymnastics team, it probably wouldn't have bothered me as bad. Again, sorry for my rant!

This makes me sad. People clearly had no problem voicing their opinions of Ryan and his beliefs as he appeared on the show...but now, they have a problem with him voicing his opinion and supporting Chick-fil-a? Double standard much?

What I want is for somebody with opposing beliefs to stand up for freedom of speech when they believe differently. It's about our freedom!!

I would support him more for his stance on Chick whatever it is vs that stupid 1F haircut. I would rather see him with a shaved head, if he has to style it like this.

Whew...I thought I was the only one thinking, "what has he done to his hair?" I liked the bump-it better than this style on him!
