Doug Clerget - Bachelorette 8 - Discussion

I have to say, Doug was my favorite last episode. He took the whole lady thing in stride... better then Arie did IMO. He just had such a good time with it and gave it his all which is what Emily wanted. He was also the one to tell her about Kalon -which could not have been an easy situation to be in, and then on top of that tried to comfort her when she came back in.

I actually feel bad for Doug here. I just saw the part were he went to comfort Emily after she sent Kalon away. Emily didn't want to be around anyone at that time though.

He sees their connection as being much more than it is. I think he was being too pushy in this scene. He felt all puffed up having told on Kalon and expected special treatment for this. He would have been the logical rose on the group date but he didnt get one. This spoke spoke loudly to how Emily sees Doug. There is absoutely NO romance, only a single parent connection that is not all that strong.
