Whether she was really in to JP at this point like she was in to Bentley - who knows! But she still looks pretty happy to be kissing JP for someone that was so devastated a few hours earlier!

The one thing that I found funny and cute about them last night was how awkward they were (in a way) kissing each other! It can't be easy with a camera right there in your face and you are trying to figure out where to put your hands and position your body so it doesn't look like some X-rated show!

I just can't help but laugh at the rose hanging off his shirt. But they sure do look cute. I wish we had gotten to see even more of their date.

I know! That was too cute, and just like real life. It just reminded me that movies are fake -- actors always know where to position their hands. Sometimes in real life, it's a little more awkward. :lovekiss:

Ugh – to me have came off smarmy – a 34 yo man who’s had one 2yr relationship, outside of the 2-3 month date and dashes he’s used to doesn’t scream happily ever after to me – more like the love ‘em and leave ‘em type to me. Different strokes I guess.

And this is what my husband said. I had to rewind it and listen again. Single from 22 to 30.

I must be the only one who doesn't see it as a problem. Maybe no one interested him enough to date long time. It's been 8 years since I dated anyone and I'm not much younger than JP.

I don't see it as a problem either. I have 3 sons between the ages of 20 and 25; all in college right now. While they're all dating none of them are in or have had really serious relationships yet. I say What's the Rush; Have fun!! Serious relationships are for your 30's (IMO) Therefore, I think Ashley is too young for marriage, but anyway.... if you're dating somebody and you know they aren't your type what do you do... you move on right? Better than jumping into something to soon just because you love "being with somebody" it doesn't necessarily mean you're in love

NYC is a pretty costly place to live. Maybe he was concentrating on his career/business and getting established vs casual dating. A guy in his mid 20's in NYC is not generally considered very established. JMO And let's face it, Ashley will be walking away with a degree in dentistry soon.

I think Ashley said that she didn't really date the past four years she's been in dental school. Maybe they are actually similar in that respect?
