It was reported in an article quoting Ryan that several of the guys called him on Monday after the show to apologize for how things came out. Stand up guys. :Smiley:

I did feel kinda bad for him saying they were his friends and then cutting to them high fiving each other! giggling

Watch your back, Emily Maynard. Save your roses. Mario Andretti. Arie Luyendyk, Jr., did find true love on The Bachelorette Season 8 — with a soft-spoken skateboarder named Jef Holm.

On Arie’s media conference call last week, he was asked about any behind-the-scenes pranks between the guys.

“I don't really know,” Arie said at first. “I can't really remember because it was just — there were so many things, but I definitely was really good friends with Michael [Nance] and definitely really good friends with Jef. And it was just kind of funny how you had like a little separation in the house. You had like the what we called ‘the football team,’ and then it was like Jef and I versus everybody. It was kind of interesting because you really had so many different types of personalities, but we all meshed together pretty well.”

He was later asked again about Jef, since they are both frontrunners to win Emily’s heart. Did they have any competitive edge toward each other?

“Not at all, actually,” Arie said. “Jef and I had a pretty cool relationship because we could really talk about what was going on in the house pretty openly to each other, whereas some of the other guys in the house, it was difficult for them to hear about the dates that we're going on. And so yes, Jef and I had a pretty cool relationship, the friendship going.”

Sniff. So sweet. And now we know where Jef’s second “f” went — he gave it to Arie as a promise of their forever.

That' so funny...Jef gave the F to Arie as a promise of their forever...God! maybe he did!!!! I really hope that Jef& Arie retained their friendship!

I hope that after the show we get a pic of Arie and Jef together, hopefully with Arie wearing a #TeamJef shirt and Jef wearing a #TeamArie shirt. :Smiley:

Love it! Watching their friendship has been one of the best parts of the show. It's hilarious to me that the most "bickering" happens between Arie and Jef fans, IMHO, considering their friendship. :giggle:

Just catching up on the thread but wanted to tell you these are AWESOME, thank you for doing that!!! Love the two BFF's, so cute. Someone really should suggest in the 'Suggestions for Producer's Thread' to showcase more of the bromance in the show, or at the very least show us more of at the MTA. We also want a DVD! What other suggestions have I seen regarding them...? :gotcha:

Arie and Jef just touch me and make me laugh at the same time! Two mature men, successful men, and yet at times make me think of the three stooges, minus one. And that is not a mean statement in my heart, but a wonderful sweet twosome!!
