I would hope that in any case but especially if F1 hadn't even met Ricki. I suppose that introducing Ricki as "Here's the man who's going to be your new daddy" is preferable to "Meet your new daddy" though.

Things did not turn out well with Brad but she still decided to open herself up to this process. I still question. Should I have added IMO as it seem so necessary to do nowadays ?

No, too many sources saying she chose someone. Hoping it was a proposal for a future proposal though (if you know what I mean).
