You all have probably already mentioned this, but KK maybe she gave him the rose ON the date and took it back ON the date, knowing how Ryan is he could have said anything. Hugesmile

Maybe that's where the "rose is not a rose" came into play?

You know who he reminds me of, well his humor, is Michelle Money. They both have a very sarcastic sense of humor, which doesn't bode well for this show and it's crafting editing.

It is hard to figure this out. With her carrying the rose at night dressed as she was on her date with Ryan it seems he does not get the rose on the date. But then Emily dressed in White at a Cocktail party storms out to Chris Harrison to ask if there are any other guys in there not here for her!!!! So it seems something goes down then. Arie was also shown going to her room with something to tell her and I thought since she was hard on him about Kalon maybe he felt he needed to tell her about someone else, maybe Ryan???

I agree with both. Ryan has a sarcastic sense of humor and I think he's funny most of the time. The producers found a goldmine with him. I think he is getting mixed signals from Emily a little, i.e., on their first date during the conversation, they were teasing and joking with one another - Emily too. I think he's still "teasing" a lot of the time and Emily is preferring the guys that sweet-talk her. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't think Ryan is as much of a d-bag as they're trying to portray.

I don't think he is either, people have commented that know him say he is a very nice man. That's why I say he reminds me of Michelle, they did the same thing to her, and post show everyone says she's a sweetheart. Yep, you said it, Sarcasm is a goldmine for them, they can manipulate it any way they want

So if Ryan didn't get the rose... what if that was at the end of the RS, Arie goes talks to her, she goes to Chris and says that, and it's about Doug and that's why he left the way he did for the next episode? To confusing for me haha as you can see I'm no sleuther!

Edit-I REALLY could be spending my time doing a million other things than thinking of this dang show!! giggling

Ok, so went back and looked at the preview/KK's pics...so maybe Ryan got the rose, Arie comes to talk to her-she believes every word he says, takes Ryan's rose back (see her walking with the rose scene) right before the rose ceremony she talks to Chris, has rose ceremony and everything is back on track, except for the crying scene with Doug which I'm wondering what happened there. I'm done. giggling

Would love him as the next Bach! Know it will never happen...isn't Roberto confirmed? Ryan would be hilarious...could you imagine the variety of dates...he'd be coaching/pushing all the gals to the limit!

He actually would be a hilarious Bachelor. If it's not Roberto or Arie, I'd be down with a Ryan season. He'd probably bring back the physical challenges from Andy's season, but be way more hardcore about it. It would be bachelorette boot camp for real!

Oh ugh. I stopped watching Baldwins season after that episode where he made the girls prep for a mini-triathalon. Sorry but I did not like him and that just put the nail in it. I did watch the FDs and found my mouth dropping open when he picked Tessa after telling Bevin that he loved her. Double Ugh.
