Funny JBF- I think we just all have very different ears. Trust me I am a Jef fan- so I wouldn't be morphing Arie's voice. On the other hand I will be the first to admit this is not my strong suit- so my interpretation should carry very little weight- and I am totally not being sarcastic. Sometimes I can't recognize my different kids on the phone.

Well, we ruled out Sean. Arie is still under debate. The Ricki part MAY be Jef, but I've listened to it too many times and, every time, that first part always brings me back to Joe.

San, could you make a video with Joe's voice...maybe from their love clock scene?

^ Yeah, I agree. Joe is the most likely candidate in my book too. But I am curious as to what context he said that quote in. And why did the producers include a quote from him.

Like I said before, there is a curious Joe/Jef connection this season... as if Joe may have known Jef that first week more than the other guys.

1.) They are "polar opposites" in the first rose ceremony (not counting first impression rose Doug) and occupy the front row of the meet & greet group photo... like JP and William Holman last year in Ashley's season, both of whom received wedding themed dates. (In the promo, William and JP are intertwined a lot with voice-overs covering each other... we get this also with Jef's falling head over heels quote lining up with Joe seen with Emily on their date.)

2.) Emily was crying dumping Joe, but nobody else so far.

3.) Joe was talking up a storm about Jef in his exit interview as if he knows something.

4.) AND he lives in Los Angeles... easy to "borrow" for last minute voice-overs.

5.) Then there's the car seen. It is different than the one used on Joe's date in West Virginia, but that one was a slow-moving antique as well.

My guess is that Jef, Joe and Doug were Emily's top three that first night as Will, JP and Ryan were Ashley's and only one of them is allowed a 1 on 1 date that first week (although JP got to flip a coin with Mickey... and lose).

If this is Joe speaking "leap of faith", it is as if he is telling Jef what he needs to do since he might have lost confidence at some point... maybe during hometown? This promo as compiled before final rose ceremony and does not include clips from hometowns onward... or so it appears. SOMETHING happens around April 22-23 that prompted a cluster of @Fleissmeister tweets. (Positively, he is also talking Neil Lane on the 28th and they haven't had their Fantasy Dates yet! This is right after Chris leaves.)

It is very strange to me how many quotes coming from these competing guys appear edited to encourage Jef in some way. Examples include Chris questioning himself why a hot girl like Emily would have any interest in “ordinary” him and Doug saying he is purposely cautious about kissing because that is not the most important part of a relationship. Ryan dubs Arie as “dainty” and fusses over his kissing, but Arie has no problem being “dainty” comparing his smaller arm size with Doug and Sean in an outtake. Charlie is the one acting nervous on the Muppet date. Add to this all of Emily’s lines of encouragement spoken over shots of Jef in promos and episodes like “I feel like he is ready to be a husband and a dad.” In her people.com blog for #2: “I decided to give him the rose because I wanted him to give this whole experience a chance – I truly believe it can work if the right two people find each other.”
