Thanks, San! FWIW, I asked my husband to listen. He has no idea who these guys are, but has a pretty good ear for this type of thing. He said it's definitely not the third guy (Arie). It could be the first guy (Jef). I, too, thought it sounded closer to Jef than Arie.

If Jef IS the F1, it makes sense that is him since it matches where JP discusses Fiji in Ashley's promo last year. It indicates a "theme" for the final one.

Last season was confusing because BEN was talking in this spot, not Courtney or anybody else.

Also note London nighttime resembling Hong Kong nighttime when you compare these... that city is more important this season than any other for some reason.

F1 or not, Jef has a pretty big role this season.

Our Little Drama Stars...

Arie and Dolly Parton: Emily's therapists helping her get over The Ghost Of Ricky. They have to work hard since she is dressed in black holding her rose before the white fade out. Time is running out! (In Ashley's white fade-out, JP is carrying her in the rain. Here Emily is a alone and we see multiple roses... whatever that means.)

OK, maybe this isn't the total truth here, but it appears to be their story. I also wonder who she is talking about when kissing Arie. You people know where I am going here... race car connection and all. On Brad's season, he fussed about "chasing a dream" and she felt guys ran away because of her ex.

Jef: Is he ready to be a father? He looks fine with them, swirling them just like she does. Yet, he gets the key words "but" and "nothing more" from her.

Even more ominous, playing Emily and Ashley's promos back to back, Emily addressing Jef about "fatherhood" (so it appears in its editing) lines up with JP voice-overs about his heated chemistry with Ashley. I wonder if Emily is even worried about fatherhood at all, but there is some other hang-up of hers that Jef must overcome.

Sean: Ready to step into any role and play Daddy, just as Lindzi can easily see "a life" with Ben. Not bothering to post Ben's promo here since it is a confusing mess, but Sean matches up with both Ben's Lindzi and Ashley's Ryan P. Ooof! That is not good for his chances as F1. Poor Sean looks a bit too-too innocent here.

Chris is getting a rather sneaky edit here. He may not be "baggage" boy, but both he and Doug have all kinds of "drama" going on.

Like Ben's season, there is a lot of crying.

Not sure if I can answer that one about the merry-go-round... yeah, a merry-go-round!! Watch the horsies go around like cars on a track... Ooof!

She says this is a dream come true, but I am also reminded of Brad belly-aching in his January 2011 promo about not wanting to chase "some dream". The hullabaloo of that season was that Brad kept getting frustrated about filling "Big" Ricky's shoes and Emily fussed that every guy in her life runs away because of the "ghost" of her ex. Obviously, SHE keeps saying she is long past "Big" Ricky and dedicated to "Little" Ricky, but Brad apparently didn't think so.

Was Brad wrong in his thinking?

That depends. When the guys discuss "baggage" in the promo, are they REALLY talking about "Little" Ricky as Emily thinks? Or "Big" Ricky?

What, exactly, is the "point" of that shot of her in black holding a rose? Also the shots of other roses sitting in the rain and multiple dudes crying?

I'm sorry. this is nothing to laugh at. :pinkcry: It is just that Mike Fleiss wants sssssssoooooo much to play "Shrink" that I can't help but be tickled by these storylines.

Take Ashley's season.

We heard nothing about her ex Joe who died in September 2010, when she started filming Brad's season. Even though she was finished with that relationship, you just know Ashley was stewing about not being there for him. Enter all of this oddball Fleissian therapy her season... William couldn't save his alcoholic father, Ben F. wasn't always there as much as he wanted to be for his father, West couldn't save his wife... EGAD!

Add to that Bentley playing the "heartbreaker" (even if Ashley hardly appeared as invested in him as they made her out to be) and JP fussing about getting heartbroken again. (When you play Ashley and Emily's promos back to back, this quote lines up with the one many of us are debating as Jef's... "Fiji would be the perfect ending to my love story. My only fear is getting hurt again.")

One of these days, Fleiss needs to stop with these cute head games and allow all of our brains to heal.

Chris Harrison made a point of seperating Arie's Indy background from "Big" Ricky's NASCAR, but... c'mon, folks! Something fishy is going on here.

... and Cassie and Arie have a "past" that prompts some sort of incident with Emily late in the game... or so Reality Steve is suggesting in his blogs. Is this some kind of "jolt" tactic or something? I am grasping at straws here figuring this out, but some cute little coincidences just don't appear all that coincidential to little ol' me. Note that Dolly Parton is on, what appears to be, one of Arie's dates and she is not concerned about Emily "making it" with Arie. She just wants Emily to find "true love". Um...

Maybe Arie really is that "true love", but he is not the one shown when Emily voice-overs about wanting to find her HUSBAND so bad. Jef is... or Chris, who is also in that shot.

I DO think it is Jef saying "Sometimes in life you HAVE to take a leap of faith. I want to make this happen for her, Ricky, myself..." Of course, SHE is the one standing on the balcony. Maybe both have to for their own particular reasons.

Then we have Sean saying he can step into any "role"... I guess as the missing "Big" Ricky to the daughter who never met her biological father. We already see Jef playing with the kiddies with no hitch, so I guess Sean has to be an equally worthy opponent just so this show isn't all about Arie "The Ghost Repeated" versus Jef "The Present".

I dunno... sometimes I wonder if I should quit while I'm ahead.

One of those “Cute Little Coincidences” that tickle me in Fleiss Fantasyland. What are the odds that she would get this kind of date?
