It is really weird. However, I have long since understood that if a particular storyline is not being on the show, it is not a storyline either planned or needed by the producers to tell their end story.
Sean will reach his F2 (or F3 position depending on who you actually believe will be F1/F2/F3) and hopefully, Emily will send him on his merry way...hopefully without him going through the proposal / near proposal that Ben and Kiptyn did. Pretty sure if it was more than that, the producers will have shown at least a small convo.
I do recall wondering why both Ben (f2) and Reid (f3) had SCs of 1on1 time shown in promos / medianet in the early episodes but those actual scenes were never shown. Not enough storyline and not interesting enough either.
ETA : I remember folks saying that those relationships were being hidden because there was "too much" of a connection . We all know how those connections actually panned out.

This is my best guess. Based on episode 1 and 2... I will say no. If they did, his Intro would have been shown. Obviously, his storyline and edit could and probably will change soon. He just may turn out like Ben and Jason who defaulted to the end, dropped down on one knee and boom... our next Bachelor was born.

I'm pretty sure other posters here have other opinions (which I'd love to hear) but this is mine.
