I like that approach too! This is Chris staying true to himself, creating designs that he would really do for his clients at his business instead of trying to go overboard and be overly flashy or fancy just to make a show. Lord knows I've watched a lot of shows where the homeowners are all nervousing about the designers crazy ideas or color schemes and whether they will like the final result. That can be fun to watch, but some of those designers I'd be afraid to hire in real life. giggling

I just watched it today (a Mother's Day present to myself) and my husband and I both liked the design a lot. We are trying to do a similar idea at our own Cape Cod house so Chris gave us good ideas. We may actually call E. Lambton to come give us an estimate but hubby rightfully said that they will probably be very busy now and can raise their prices thanks to the exposure (good for them!).

And, yes, Cimcoe, our soil is that sandy! And can also be very clay-like.

Andn I thought Chris did a great job hosting and projecting a very intelligent, practical sense.

Wouldn't that be cool if you got E. Lambton to do the work! Yeah I bet they've been able to raise prices with the increased demand that I am certain they are getting. Never hurts to get an estimate though, especially when there might be a chance to meet a Lambton in the process. giggling

OMG if they ended up doing the work you could videotape it and make your own 'Going Yard" episode! giggling

And then you'd have to share it with all of us. Hugesmile

Did anybody read that he is doing his own yard for a segment and having a post celebration for Cape friends who could not go to SC for the wedding. Cool idea. Wonder if the show will pick up the tab?

I did read that Teenamarie. Surprised that their yard needs work! Nice excuse for a party :) Guessing HGTV will pick up much of the tab.

Cimcoe, you inspired me to send an email to E. Lambton Landscaping asking if they have any availability to do a design/build. Will keep you posted.

Love that beach backdrop, that beautiful nature scene with the wind blowing in her hair, and Chris in his barefeet! I bet Peyton is too, except we can't see it for the dress! Thanks for posting this wedding album! They really make a stunning bride and groom!
