Not sure this is posted somewhere but on GMA this morning on the clip they showed, she and Kalon were talking about basically what he and Doug had been talking about with him thinking he'd be a first time dad to his own kid. Em was trying to talk to him about it, they were going back and forth, and he said I love it when you talk but wish you'd let me finish, she didn't like that. In confessional she said, I do like tall, skinny and funny, but I don't like tall, skinny and condenscending.

I know he'll never admit to it, but I wonder how disappointed MF is with the ratings for Emily's season?* He kept crowing on Twitter during filming that she was going to have fantastic ratings, and instead, her ratings are even lower than Ashley's and Ben's. I fear that if this "we're giving you everything you want" season has crappy ratings, he's going to reverse course in future seasons and amp up the trashiness and drama.

*And yes, I know that the ratings might be skewed because of the odd time for the first two episodes, but I can't imagine a sizable bump next week. I doubt anyone who hasn't already been watching is going to start next week just because the show is back in its normal timeslot.

Archer I think Ben's season killed anyone wanting to watch. I know I didn't watch his season just because he was the lead and I'm only watching this one because of Emily...and now because of the guys, haha!

Yeah it's a bad time. I know my in laws (who watch every season) didn't watch last week because two shows they watch had season finales and DVR can only do 2 shows.

Also, DH who normally watches with me has not watched because 11 is too late for him... so the time slot might have something to do with it.

A quick tabloid update for the week:

OK teases a Bachelorette dating scandal on its cover (not the main cover story) and In Touch has a little story inside about an alleged Emily secret. US Weekly also includes Emily vs. Brad as one of their Feuds Of The Week.

OK's B'ette dating scandal is about Arie but the actual text shows how overblown the title is. The article is a 2 page spread talking about how Emily's into Arie but he briefly dated a B'ette producer 9 years ago before quickly ending that relationship to save their friendship. [My editorial note: This doesn't sound like much of a scandal to me] It does say Emily was furious when she found out about it though. There are also a couple of pictures of Arie that refer to him as a playboy who likes to flirt with famous ladies. I think there's a picture of him in 2010 posing at an event with a couple people in the same picture, one of whom is Kim Kardashian and the other is a guy (I want to say Kanye West but I don't remember). Nothing specific but the article ends by saying Emily's playing a game too because even though the NASCAR and Indy circuits are different there's almost no way she wouldn't have known about Arie Sr.'s success on the Indy circuit.

In Touch claims Emily had a chest enhancement procedure and consults a doctor who's never treated her to confirm.

US Weekly mentions how Brad said in an interview that he'd dodged a bullet when he and Emily broke up and says Emily replied to Ashley Spivey in a tweet by saying it was a "diamond encrusted bullet".
