So I tried to communicate as best I could with the guy who first said he saw The Bachelorette being filmed this season. I asked him if Ashley picked Ben and if the finale was filmed in Vomo, Fiji?

He answered back with yes that is what happened and he liked that it did.

Because he speaks another language I think he did see Ashley pick Ben F and the finale was filmed in Vomo, Fiji.

It is a little frustrating trying to ask him questions because there is a communication issue so I did my best to keep it simple and to the point.

So what do you think?

English was the official language of Fiji until 1997 when the government decided they would have 3 official languages; Fijian, Hindustani and English. They still use English for most commerce and business though it isn't required learning in schools. So it makes sense the source would have at least some knowledge of English. Makes me more inclined to believe him though it still could be a misunderstanding. I'm hopeful for Ben F!!!!!!!!! If he wins I'll be getting a new dentist in the future! dance1

I think it's true too. If he saw Ben as one of two men, he could have said "Ashley chose Ben and X" instead of just "Ben." OTOH, it's possible that he saw a LCD/MTP with Ben and assumed that he was her choice?

I wonder if he saw X (f2)..That would be great..Love I think you have to go with your gut feeling after talking with him..If you think so..I say it probably so...

Love Me, you might want to ask him what Ashley was wearing ie a formal gown. This would indicate that he did see the FRC rather than a MTP or LCD as Alanna specced. Just to be sure

I'd write back something like, "Wow! You saw the marriage proposal? So exciting! Did Ben get on his knee? What was Ashley wearing? Did you get to see the ring up close?" Then it doesn't sound like you're doubting him, you're just asking for additional info out of curiosity. Thanks so much for following up! (I am guessing he knows about websites that translate text if he's not sure of any words in English and cares enough to run it through -- it takes seconds to do.)

I agree that you have to keep it simple. Here is another thought. What if...what if Constantine is F2 - he has long hair as well....
That could be confusing!

Try to think of one question that would indentify just BenF positively as F1 . BenF has dark hair straight hair over his ears. Constantine has lighter, curlier hair over his ears.

You might say, "Did BenF with dark straight hair over his ears make it to F1? Did he propose to Ashley? Did she accept?"

Think how many times we have been fooled into thinking a sc was an FRC when in essence it was not(the sc of Ali weeks before in a long gown walking down the path, the photoshopping of melissa's gown to fool us.)
Guys are not the greatest at describing details that we are interested in, but surely he would remember color...hopefully.

Yes, I came back due to lack of clarity and lack of coffee--the gentleman Love communicated with firmly stated Ben repetitively. So if we can firmly determine Ashley wore an off white dress vs black or turquoise vs yellow this could tag what date was actually observed. Asking what the guy wore-that could still fool us as it could, not likely but could be, still non determinative(and guys generally wear a dark suit vs light).
We will have some type of sc that should be able to substantiate the color of her FRC dress to compare to this gentleman's info following the extended preview.
