They say they've confirmed somethIng about JP that indicates he can't be F1. It can't be the bachelor pad because there's no way they would even consider him if he's in the f2 which we all agree he is.

This I have to disagree with. I mean both Kiptyn and Tenley were F2 and they were both on BP1.

Starshine, what she means is since The Bachelor Pad is filming now while this season of the bachelorette is still airing, they can't reveal the F2 by having him appear on the bachelor pad because then the bachelor pad contestants would now know JP is off the show and isn't the F1 if he makes it that far.

Jake and Jillian's season was already over by the time of the bachelor pad season 1 filming, so Kiptyn and Tenley were able to be on it. I hope that all makes sense!!

I am not going to lie it would be nice if what my source told me about Ben and Ashley being engaged turned out to be true.

I tried to ask him as many questions about this situation as I could to gain clarity about the outcome to this season. Also, even if they turn out to be wrong it will be ok because I like J.P and Ashley together as well.

I am looking forward to tomorrow nights show and Ben and Ashley's first 1-1 date to get a better read on what might happen.

I am going to chime in on this one and remind everyone that we have only seen 2 episodes. I think it is hard to gaurentee anything from 2 episodes. Edit wise is JP in the lead right now?? If I had to bet my Bachelor dollars, I would have to bet them on JP. I have now said several times in several places, that when we push through the maze and the smoke, at this point the evidence is pointing to JP.

However, I am at heart a cautious person, not given to betting. and something has been troubling me. That something is that I have not had to work very hard at all to figure out that JP - at this point - is F1. RS just confirmed what I and several others were already saying.
It has been too easy.

It is true that I think she fell for Bentley, he is a cad, there are all kinds of social/psychological issues involved, and that she had one whale of a time getting past this particular point, but I also believe that the evidence shows the producers never intended Bentley to be final anything. I think they knew he was leaving, and they planned for the F4 and maybe William to be in place while the Bentley story and the rest played itself out.

I just keep looking at how easy it is for us to look at the edit and the evidence and figure out it is JP. It is too easy! Even the unspoiled over at the FORT are on JP's trail.
That does give me pause.
Although I couldn't believe her edit last season, Chantal's hard evidence and RS's reveal had her at F1 at this point in the season.

Would they wait until the 4th episode to get Ben's story going and crown him F1? That is so farfetched, but then they never showed Melissa and Jason in a 1-1 during the Meet N Greet, and she was F1.

In my opinion, Ben is acting like an F2. He is on a social network, and it is way early for that. He so far has been edited as an F2, and Chris has commented on him in the manner of an F2.
His date, though, will come at a time when Ashley will have had a better chance to pull herself together after Bentley and the roast.

I guess we will see what we see....

Some have mentioned that the reason TPTB have shown us so much between JP and Ashley is because the remainder of this show will be so heavily focused on Ashley's relationships with the other guys. This way, in the end, when she does choose JP, we will be able to think back and go, "That's right! They had something going from the very beginning. I just forgot about it because I got caught up in everything else that's been happening." :geek:

Isn't this season similar to Ali's season? She fell for Roberto the first night, and the rest of the season was just a smokescreen to cover up that fact. She even had her own villain -- Frank, who made it to F3!!
