None of us can ever be duped into believing Steve's F1 pick hook, line and sinker, so we can all watch with sufficient reasonable doubt to speculate about any outcome we like.

Speaking of Ben F's wine business and promoting it. I just watched the video with former contestants that Jesse C. made, discussing Ashley's show and mainly, the guys on it.

The M & G and Ben F. wine toast was mentioned. Jesse Kovacs said he asked TPTB if he could bring a bottle of his wine, from his winery that he made, and do a toast with Jillian and was told it costs big $$$$$$ to get that camera tv time to promo his wine, so he couldn't do it. Now is Jesse K. lying ~ I have no idea, but why would he make that up now??

I don't mean to imply Ben F. had ulterior motives or anything, and nothing wrong with trying to get some air time for a product you have worked so hard to be successful.

That is what they told Jesse - I think just to put him off - but realistically just by looking at what took place when Ben got out of the limo and made that little toast to Ashley, what did it cost anybody? It cost Ben the bottle of wine and the producers the cups...

To me, it is kind of like the situation of contestants wanting to leave. If it suits the producers, and it is not someone that the lead has his/her eye on as the possible winner, then we hear the whole spiel about, "If you do not see Jane or John Doe as someone you can see yourself with, feel free to refuse the rose," yada, yada... However, during the seasons where someone like Tessa, Ed, and Frank wanted to leave, we don't hear that disclaimer because their contracts come into play and leaving become a much bigger issue.

It didn't play into the producers' storyline that season very well for Jesse to get out of the limo and to suavely toast Jillian. Therefore, he was fed the line about the advertising expense; however, I bet it does chap Jesse to see it done on this season, especially if it was his idea, and they used his idea with Ben.

Something else to add to the list. I believe Bloomers may have mentioned that the F1 is usually not involved with group dates that could potentially "ruin" the F1. JP is not on the roast date but Ben F is.
