In my first post a couple of weeks ago I mentioned the reasons why I didn't believe Madrid was the correct destination for the FRC and that I believed they were headed to a tropical location where there would be more privacy, isolation and less chance of contact with random tourists who could potentially spoil the the finale.

I haven't been able to positively confirm the leads I found, but the LA location for the 4-3 RC seems to support what I suspected.... that they are likely heading back to the South Pacific. I have found a couple of hotels that are suspiciously completely booked during the time period of the FDs, MTPs, LCDs and FRC. I can't confirm anything yet as it could be bookings made for some other purpose, but I strongly suspect I may be correct. I'll let y'all know if I can confirm it. Remember the early promo commercial announcing Emily as the new b'ette? Emily was playing with Ricki and her dolls. Emily asked Ricki where the dolls were going so they could dress the dolls appropriately. Ricki said, "the beach!". I don't want to mislead anyone as I'm not positive about all this...... just expressing my best guess given the info I have found.

Thanks Windwaltzer. Another thing to check out for your possible destinations is for any leaked publicity. Tropical locations seem to want to get it in the press ASAP that The Bachelor/ette will be filming there.

Though it seems that by now something would have shown up in the news. Which makes me suspicious that Madrid could indeed be the FD destination because filming in Spain during Jillian's season was all under the radar.

There are no English language newspapers or media where I am thinking and discretion and privacy are important attributes of the location. Last time they were there the location was spoiled so there was some English language press coverage, but that was because we all knew they were filming in that location. Most of the tourist publicity value , however, came after the fact.

Two things bother me about Madrid and don't add up, especially for the FRC location. The first is the lack of privacy. It's difficult to control observation of filming in tourist areas. They tend to use these locations when they don't mind a few spoiler photos escaping to stimulate interest in the season. Yes, they did fly under the radar in Madrid in Jillian's season, but would TPTB risk that during the FRC? For FDs and FRC they usually go for a remote or isolated location where they can have absolute control over who sees what and can edit screencaps to be released for publicity. The second problem with Madrid, in my mind, is the weather. The first half of May in Madrid is often very cloudy or rainy and cool with highs in the 50s or 60s. Getting that "golden sunset shot" at the FRC is very improbable at this time of year and we all know how they value dramatic cinematography during the finale.

I could very well be wrong. It certainly wouldn't be the first time! I'm just throwing my thoughts and findings out here to stimulate discussion.

I was thinking that if Madrid is the FRC location, then they could have chosen to have it indoors in some spectacular building perhaps (like they did a long time ago - lots of flowers and candles. I think that would be beautiful and refreshing kinda :Smiley: ) That way they would also not risk that photographs are taken like the one of Ben proposing to Courtney, which I think they are highly trying to avoid.
