That is always true; on the other hand, realistically, we need to be ready to balance what we hear from real life with what we are seeing in still pics or previews where the guys seem perfect. These people/women had real interactions with the guys. We know from experience that some of the guys in past seasons have brought their situations with women with them onto the show. Justin, Ed, Jake,Byron, and even Brad are just some of them.

We like to think that every one of these handsome faces we see and who are on the show has been Mr. Gallant, Mr. Good Guy who has treated all the women he has dated well and respectfully, but common sense and watching the show combined with being on this board/Fort for all these seasons ensures that isn't true.

I would think what is said outside the show, be it a bit bitter, would hold more weight than the the twisted, edited, manipulated version seen on TV. JMO...we are our own judges though!

I agree we should listen, and if 4 or 5 girls say this one or that one is a creep, we should listen. One girl saying he is a tool? That could be sour grapes!

What happens a lot of time is that we get something from the show, and then in real time we start getting info on the internet and in the media. Over the seasons, we have seen this happen, time and again.
We have had to sift through all of the media slant, but when there was such a constant barrage from every side, the old adage, "Where there is smoke, there is fire," usually comes in to play. That is where some of those ace, crack sleuthers began to shine as well. By the time they were finished, they had gleaned out what was basically true. (We lost one in SDL who tracked from the inside for us. He passed away)

We also saw a perfect example of that recently with Ben and the other women in the magazines. He is with Courtney now, and I hope for them the best, but our sleuthers stayed at it until they proved that it was indeed Ben in some of the magazine pictures.
