I don't know Emily nearly as well as many of you who have been following her twitter, etc. But for some reason I think she's a pretty decisive gal. I think she will know early on who her F1 is and won't waver (outside of a serious shake-up as Ironcat mentioned). I also think that while she will be very rational about looking for the right qualities to be a good step-dad and husband, she also really wants that romantic passionate love she had with Ricky.

I sincerely hope she is lucky enough to find both in one man! :sprinklehearts

and from that point on, the F1 has had their first 1 on 1 on episode 3 the majority of the time (Ed, Vienna, Roberto, Emily, JP), so that is really the only pattern of any consequence.

Thank you for putting it all together, ironcat. This is exactly why I want to know who had the Dollywood date. I think that he and Chris will be in the F4, and one of them is likely the F1. It's not just a matter of random chance like rolling dice. Emily is making choices and the producers are using those choices in certain ways to suit their storytelling. They are creatures of habit, to a large degree. Could Ryan or Doug be F1 ? - sure. But the chances are much slimmer.

I believe the guy that Emily picks as F1 is someone whom she has great chemistry with, a man of great character who shares her values(moral and spiritual), someone who makes her laugh and feel secure,and has a lifestyle that is kid friendly. It will be the qualities of the guy and not the placement of the date(episode 2, 3 or 4)that will give us the clue on who she will likely fall in love with and pick as F1 , IMO. We will be able to judge for ourselves who among the the contestants is best fit for Emily once the show airs and who the F1 is going to be.

I quite agree, but based on the tweets about how much time she spent , early on, with each guy, I do imagine that all of her early 1 on 1's were probably with exemplary men. No doubt they were men that she was really attracted to for a variety of reasons. I still think episode 3 has an edge.....

Most F1 did have episode 3 dates , however it does not mean that whoever gets an ep 3 date is automatically going to be F1. One thing is for sure though,whoever gets the important 2nd 1-1 date definitely has the edge. The F1 and F2 always get the 2nd 1-1 date and in most seasons, the F3 as well.

I think that the GB date along with Dollywood (was it a 1:1 date?) will be in F4 along with Chris & Ryan. I agree we may not have a name of F1 but haven't we seen all of the guys left or at least their backsides? LOL. I still like BHG & Sean. I seriously see Ryan as next Bachelor He will and already seems to be fan favorite :) Is it May 14th yet???!!!???

This is the biggest reason I think Ryan might not be F1. The very public first date with the women fawning all over him... girls shouting that they will take him if Emily doesn't. IF he isn't F1 I think he is the biggest contender for the next Bach IMO (I know the season hasn't started yet!) I can just smell what MF would be cooking in his brain with this guy. He's like the Tim Tebow that MF never had with the Christian football player status that drives the women cray-cray. OTH I think Emily was always supposed to be the next Bette but Brad "messed up" and picked her.... same thing could happen with Ryan I guess.

Totally agree and was thinking the same about the Tebow comparison. Clearly the show would love that type of a lead (even had that Tebow mention by Chris Harrison) and likely have Ryan in mind. BUT, I just get a feeling about him and Emily. Can't wait to see what happens!

I definitely agree that it was the producers' interest in Ryan being the next lead (ie, the closest thing to Tebow that they're going to get) that was the biggest factor in why he got the first date, and a very public one at that, and I suspect this even superceded whether Emily pegged him as her favorite the first night or not. How much he impressed her on that date, and how much he has been impressing her since (all indications are that he's still there, correct?), we don't yet know of course. And even though episode 3 date contestants have had the advantage overall, we can't forget that just last season, an episode 2 date contestant was F1, so it could happen again. So with all that in mind, I'm not yet convinced that Ryan's odds of being Emily's choice are any poorer, or significantly less, by having gotten the first date, than the guys who got the episode 3 dates, because of what I could envision as extenuating circumstances.
