I think you could say in an unscientific poll that the women here would choose Ryan as the F1

Ryan is attractive and comes with a nice "package" :Nod: , but call it intuition when I say looking at he and Emily dancing, he was not totally focused on her the entire time as she was on him. There were times he was staring off into the crowd...off into space...??? Why?

Personally I will hold out making any judgments since we do not know with certainty who had the 1 on 1 at Dollywood and the more than likely 1 on 1 "quality" time at the Greenbriar. Important episodes with missing characters.

So even though I cannot say who I think will be F1 based upon above, if I had to choose someone at this moment based solely upon hearsay and photos, I would stand on the side of team Doug. :hidingchair

First, all we can do is speculate at any time, and certainly all we can do right now is speculate since we don't even have the edit; however, why shouldn't we have fun and start speculating at this point?
It isn't hurting one single thing to speculate at this point, and it is bringing enjoyment.
It might be fun in retrospect to see how right or how wrong we were at this point with what info we do have in nailing Emily's choice. We are trying to pick a winner based on past knowledge which is the same thing as far as I can tell that other people do when they try to to pick winners on sports teams, etc.


Therefore, I say, "Go for it!" Throw out what you think using your best logic, understanding all the while that with this show sometimes logic will blow you right out of the saddle!

Although Ryan seems to be the favorite here and he certainly seems to have charisma and is a cutie, I have to say I agree with you, arubalisa. If Doug is funny, he seems to have all of the qualities Emily seems to want.

Lord knows there's some real hotties on the show, but I am more interested to see what 'personality' Emily is drawn to. I getting the feeling she likes a guy with an 'roguish/edgey' exterior and a soft/faith-filled/humerous heart!

I agree with Love, that Doug's chances are not looking good because of the episode 4 1 on 1.

I think Ryan's are better because he had a date in the first two episodes that happened to be featured on Emily's "home turf". I would put Chris' chances with that of Ryan's and Dollywood guy.

I am hesitant to include the Hunger Games guy if in fact it was a competition and he "won" the date just as Mickey "won" a coin toss and left on his own during episode 6. Winning a competition in order to gain a 1 on 1 can imply that it was not the lead's choice to have you on the date just that you won it. JMO

I like this thread... like some are saying it will be fun to go back later in the season when the F2 are probably named Ted and Larry and we thought it was Ryan and Doug or Chris or BHG. As much as I like Ryan, I try to keep in mind we only know 17 of the guys and JP was one of the last ones released.

F1 guesses at this point are: Ryan, Chris and Dollywood guy (whoever he may be) .... or Bentley or Brad <------- KIDDING

Also went back and did just a little research and it is really too soon to say...of those who received roses on first one on one date...with Ryan having the first one on one...stats would suggest

I agree with everyone in that it may be too early to pick a F1, but it is still fun to speculate!!!! I think Ryan, Chris, WV guy, and Dollywood guy have the best chance at being F1.

I also agree with Noob, it will be fun to look back on this thread during Finale day and read through all the comments! (I think I am getting ahead of myself!)
