I think Ali was the one who thought she'd go for a bad boy with tattoos, but I don't remember Emily ever saying that. May be wrong though.

Ali said in an interview that Emily told her that's what she liked when they had the Bachelorette date with Emily. Emily said she liked tatoos I mean, not badboys, Ali just assumed that meant she might choose a wild one.

Here are her thoughts about the F4:

- She thinks that Chris will be Emily's F1. She said that after looking over all the pictures of them on their first 1-on-1 date she sees Emily as the most comfortable around him. She also said she thinks there is chemistry between them after viewing the newest preview. I also, sent her the picture of Emily and Chris filming his HTD. IMO Emily doesn't looked thrilled and there is some distance between them. She disagreed and said I shouldn't read too much into that one photo. She said it looked like they were talking to the camera men about something.

- The first thing she wrote to me after seeing the picture of Arie was she thought he was gorgeous. She asked me to send her more photos and wanted to know more about him. I also sent her the pictures of Arie and Emily on their date in Prague. She said she thinks there is chemistry there, but in other photos she thought some of their body language looked forced. Thanks Love_Me. Yes, I had to stop posting in Ben's thread for a while after saying that from the beginning, it was brutal. I had nothing invested in Ben and was totally being objective, so it was easy to see it, and I never doubted it for a minute. I even missed several episodes after the skinny dipping. Figured JP too, was F1 very early on, but that was a total no-brainer, but seriously, I'm clueless for Emily. AS San said, more promos & screencaps to figure the F3 may help us all.

My mom will be so excited to hear everyone's positive feedback about her thoughts on this. She wanted to know if it was alright to share her opinions and I said of course it is. Regarding how many times my mom has been right about the F1? She has been right about who the F1 will be more then she has been wrong about it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Here are some of her predictions over the last few seasons:

She thought Vienna would be Jake's pick, Ali's final choice would be Roberto, Brad would pick Emily even though RS said it was Chantal, and Ashley would pick JP. She thought Kacie would be Ben's pick because even though she thought Ben was into Courtney her edit was too negative for a F1. She said after the Belize episode aired last season she knew it was going to end up being Courtney though.

I'm holding off on voting until we see more of these guys' personalities and how they interact with Emily. Going on resume alone, Arie is the obvious choice, but I can't say that I feel particularly optimistic about the chances of any of them really having a future with Emily, based on what we know of them. But of course, that has no bearing on who she may have chosen to be her (temporary) "fiance".

I'm hoping my opinion will change once the show starts airing. But right now, the only one I could imagine her giving the time of day to had she met him in a bar is Arie.

Your not saying that a guy with tats can't ever become a good husband or father, are you? We don't know for sure whether any of these guys are truly "bad boys", we really know nothing about them or how they will treat Emily or her daughter, how they've matured.

Though Alanna is plenty capable of explaining herself, I'll add that the issue really is the "bad boy" notion. That makes me think of the whole James Dean gig: fast and furious rebel with a sensitive side beneath that edgy exterior. Tattoos used to be synonymous with that image, one that almost also linked with the "love 'em and leave 'em" stereotype, which sorta no longer holds water since everyone and their entire extended family has a tattoo these days. Of Bachnation, see Ashley, Ali, Jesse Beck, Emily, Dave, Jillian, Melissa Rycroft, etc.

One of my good friend's husbands is a former tattoo artist, covered neck to toe in them. He's as gentle as a lamb, attentive, and good to the women in his life. By externals, you might run away from him, but he's become like a brother to me due to his soft heart.
