I'm going with Ryan as Final 1, he "seems" so far like a great fit for Emily and I'd like to see the first 1:1 guy get the girl. :Smiley:

I know in real life Emily is only down to her F4 (and may or may not know who her F2 are at this point), but if they turn out to be Ryan and Arie, I think the producers will have ratings gold (and I have to imagine they are desperately hoping for this outcome as we speak). Just based on the reactions on this board to these two guys (and, unfortunately, the rivalry I already see building between supporters of both), a full season of this rivalry, complete with maximum exploitation by the producers and editing, promises to be far more compelling than anything this franchise has produced in recent memory.

After the disaster of last season, Fleiss must be peeing his pants in anticipation.

MF has a good storyline if these are the F2, regardless of who F1 is in the end.

Maybe Arie has been cast as the very hot F2 that will have great physical chemistry with Emily?? Or maybe it's been Arie as F1 from the moment he stepped out of the limo.

Who knows!!

I think the F2 good vs bad has been played so many times recently when "bad" was F1 that MF better get ppl to love both for the sake of ratings. JMO :)

Examples off top of my head & probably more are:

Vienna & Courtney. Making F1 the bad one is so overplayed at this point. It makes typical viewers mad...I am hoping for a Tristan/Ryan type season. No real "bad boy" but good vs better :) IMO of course

If it's Arie and anyone else, which I suspect it will be since Arie seems a lock for F2 no matter what, I don't think it's good v. evil. It's Ricki's daddy v. Ricki's playmate.

I was speaking more in general and didn't specifically have Arie in mind ( and certainly not that I think he's evil :Smiley: .)
Just that I'm, like Istiff said, hoping for

when it comes to the final two, whoever they might be (a la Tristas season, that would be something I would really like and find refreshing.) So leaving the bad boys/choice out of the final two (or what the producers wants us to think is a bad choice at least Rolling Eyes

to create a story line and drama, and draw viewers throughout the season...) I want a drama free finale this time, just two guys who are great in there own ways and one torn up girl.. ( At least torn in the edit giggling

)

And I think if that's the case, we very well might feel like ''It's Ricki's daddy v. Ricki's playmate'' (well said btw! :Smiley: ) type scenario, JMO of course. That would IMO be more 'good vs. better' than 'good vs. bad'. I just get a feeling that if for instance Ryan is the other F2 (which I'm soo hoping) that he, right now, has more 'dad' in him than Arie, but I might have to bite my tongue later for saying something like that based on so very little... :yes:

I agree that on the surface, it certainly would appear that Ryan's background would more easily lend itself to the perception that he is more ready to be a daddy NOW (whether it's the actual case or not) than Arie. So if these are the F2, I suspect that the producers won't pass up this all too obvious "conflict". But because it's Emily (and because their strategy last season didn't turn out to be a ratings success), I do expect that they will tone down the "good vs evil" element regarding the guys, and instead emphasize the different lifestyle paths that our heroine will have to decide between, in more of a "separate, but equal" way. And they'll leave it up to the fans to choose which lifestyle (and man who embodies it) they want to root for, based on their own likes/dislikes/experiences/perceptions.

At least I hope that's what they'll do (if they're smart).
