If Emily is following her HEART and doing her own thing, then I'm happy for her and wish her the best.

Can Em's friends really see her with a fitness model/insurance agent?
How do you all feel about seeing her handle dating someone in the racing circuit again? and how does that situation include Ricki?

We just want Em to be happy. We don't care if he is a pea farmer (nothing wrong with that so hopefully someone doesn't take offense. ;) ). If he is successful at what he does, loves our Em and a great father figure to Ricki, that is all we ask for in someone. She really does want someone with a faith foundation. It seems she is leaning that way by sending Arie home.
As far as the racing circuit. NASCAR and Indy are so different. NASCAR is nearly 10 months long with only 4 weekends "off". Most drivers/families live in Charlotte. Indy doesn't have as many races so the travel wouldn't be as much. Their drivers live all over. Ricki is a Hendrick and racing runs deep in her family. Em lives that life too, of course not as much as when Ricky was alive. Arie would understand Em's life and Ricki's legacy (if I can choose that word) since he comes from a well known racing family. It was well documented his ex's had kids. We liked all of it and she looked happy in the pics, but I guess there was something that wasn't there or something happened. We are anxious to see it unfold.

Laughing at me a bit - in another thread I speculated Em might be a bit high maintenance in wardrobe for a hubby. In the boat pic above it looks like she's wearing shorts and sandals I wore 30 years ago - very comfortable and go with everything. So tells me she looks for comfort and easy-going too - not just fashion. Good for her!!!

Great post, but I would that expect coming from you. Thanks for your input. Only thing is I'm not sure if Arie wouldn't have been a faith foundation pick as well. We know the other two are, but we just don't know with Arie. So excited to see this season play out and only hope that Emily has found true love. So glad you are here with us this season since you have a better understanding of who Emily is than all of us combine.

You are right.. She's not high maintenace at all.
By looking from the video promo, she is not acting very glamorous.
Her fashion on this season seems to be more comfy and casual.

^I don't know if $400 scalloped, lace sequin shorts can be considered comfy and casual. But if she can rock them more power to her. I think it's safe to say she will be rocking clothes/shoes/accessories from a wide price range just like many leads before her. She'd be crazy not to!

Are we thinking Sean might have had an earlier 1 on 1 at some point and his England repeat was Emily "breaking the rules"? I am shocked by the latest news LOL.

The problem with setting precedent is that it is not a hard and fast rule.
What may have been the norm for past seasons, is not necessarily set in stone, especially for someone like Emily who wanted to do it "her way".
I mentioned earlier on that Sean was the most compatible with her on many levels.
However, the thing that is difficult to gauge is the initial "wow" factor of chemistry.
I am going to search for a post that I wrote a few weeks ago where I tried to explain this.

Neil Lane had better bring his A-game!!!
Yes they were brought over immediately after they were tweeted.
I like the tweet about the horse race to the finish.
My bets are still on the Dark Horse.... with the blond hair.

My gut is telling the same. If we can go on the tweets by the producers and Fleiss, then some things were changed. And if Emily had really strong feelings for one of the guys she would want to be with him again and real soon... from what I'm learning from the pros on here is that there are the little things that speaks the loudest... but there are some things that are not known that would fit the big picture and that is date placement.
The horserace analogy is interesting and like the Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another... Emily felt that way for Sean, who knows
