I think it probably was an offshoot of being an athlete. My brother went into powerlifting after his college career ended because he could never be a body-builder/fitness model. But I do know a few guys who went that route as a hobby.

For me personally, I love guys who take care of their bodies and are big athletes. As someone who is athletic, I appreciate the work it takes to make your body look that way. From what we know of Sean, this whole fitness model thing isn't really serious and he has a normal job he goes to instead. That makes me like him even more.

Since he was already into football, he had to work out. It's par for the course. Modeling just put the cherry on top

His brother in law said on fb that weightlifting is "just a hobby" for Sean. We don't know any of these guys personally, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the possibility of being conceited or spending all his free time at the gym, as a few have speculated. But of course, I am terribly biased at this point

Possibly that's why there are no "Bar /Partying/Carousing" pics of him because he spends his free time working out rather than partying.

I meant not serious in that he relied on these contests as a job. It's more of a side thing. I know about 20 former college athletes who do these things on the side of their normal jobs which appears to be the case with Sean as well.

I know many aren't a fan of the overly muscled up guys but Sean hasn't reached the crazy bodybuilder stage. He is more in the fitness model contests. I love guys who take such good care of their bodies. It shows commitment to achieving goals and that they want to be healthy. And as a former athlete, I appreciate the dedication as it would be so easy to just stop or take it easy.

I love this post. It's adorable!!! : ) To me, I think ALL 3 of the guys will have something about them that we could raz on. I guess I choose not to until I see them on TV. LOL

All I can say is he is top contender for this season's eye candy prize. Bring it on! He is probably top 5 all time at least since I've been watching this show. Primary reason why I enjoy the B'ette so much more than the Bach seasons :whistle:

ICAM, umngirl. (I have a feeling I might be saying that to you a lot this season, LOL!) Overly muscled bodybuilders make my skin crawl too, but, like you said, Sean's thankfully not at that stage. He's at the "I have a load of laundry I need to wash; can I use your abs to do it?" stage, which suits me just fine. Anyway, as much as I'm lusting after his body, what made me first like him was those pictures of him earlier in the thread with the kids. Adorable.

I know you aren't supposed to call men beautiful,but I think he has a beautiful face and smile. I can handle the body building thing if that the worse thing he's ever done just to see his smile. It lights up the whole board.LOL However, I don't know yet if I would say he's the one for Em any more than I can say Jef or Arie is.. I have to watch them together first and I have to say I will enjoy watching Sean for his smile.
