Re: Sean Lowe - Bachelorette 8 Contestant - Thread #1
I would say Ashley for sure, not physically but in terms of the type of relationship she wanted, for the most part anyway. Ali should have in Frank, she was right on the money with what she both wanted and needed. Trista also got what she asked for and ended up with him IMO. Same with Jillian. So actually, in general, the Ettes are honest and right about what they want and usually nail their type. Whether or not it works out is up to what their type is (Jill's badboys make bad men) or if their type leaves (we'll never forget ya, Frank!).etherealfire wrote:mnmhughes wrote:etherealfire wrote:I'm so curious about this guy because "on paper" he seems like a real match for Emily. Sean just might well be the very hidden F1 - but if he isn't her F1, I wonder if she would let him go F3 to spare his feelings. Obviously we don't really know any of these guys at all, but pre-season, I just have a gut feeling that if Jef isn't her F1, he might be able to more easily handle ending up rejected as F2 than either Chris would have or Sean might be able to handle - but who knows. Just a gut feeling I'm having.
I agree - he's definitely the one "on paper" who has the most characteristics that would gel with Em's lifestyle. But we frequently have Bettes who choose otherwise. We shall have to see if Em is one of those Bettes.
It is going to be very interesting to see and I guess I won't be surprised if that ends up to be the case. I don't actually remember any of the Bettes I've watched (beginning with DeAnna) ending up with with any of the guys that fit any stated prototype pre-season. Maybe Ashley? Not sure.

I think she could keep him until F2 as the one who maybe would be easiest to let go at F2.

My prediction for what its worth:
Lovable F3: Sean
Easy-going, Fun F2: Jef
F1: Arie
From that, Sean could be the next Bachelor.

I could see that too. That is why I hate predicting anything before the season starts.

Good point, Alanna. And a good thing to remember as the season comes to a close and favorites are rejected and the outrage factor kicks into high gear: whomever the lead ends up picking is the right person for them at that point in time and that is the only thing that matters.
It puts the even the most seemingly confusing, disappointing choices (to fans) in the proper perspective: even Jesse in DeAnna's case, since she couldn't have Graham, didn't want to lead lovesick Jeremy on or choose the single dad Jason to make a fake commitment when she wasn't feeling it and probably figured self-promoting Jesse C would be just fine with a conveniently timed post-showbreak up.
It's their lives and they only have 25 choices and have to make due with what choices they are left with - in retrospect, I realize I was way too judgmental of DeAnna. I wouldn't have wanted to be in any of their shoes if they get to the end and weren't lucky enough to have found their Ryan or JP and aren't given the option to choose nobody.

If Chris really did go home, and Sean isn't the hidden F1, then I think this is the F3 order as well. Not sure if Sean is going to be the next Bachelor yet, though. I'm dying to see what we think of these guys once those edits start kicking in. The possibilities are endless.

Anyone thinking they would ask graham? Maybe they don't need anyone from this season as bachelor?

I would absolutely love Graham or Michael Stagliano as the next Bachelor!!! But not sure Graham would even consider it.

On his thread on an interview, he said he would LOVE to be considered; however, I don't think they could MAKE Graham commit, and that is what they absolutely require of the Bachelors. Regardless of what the lead Bachelors may say, I think Fleiss is adamant the Bachelor is going to propose at the end at the FRC. I just do not think Fleiss is going to have another Brad 1 where he walked away with no one, and we heard Fleiss say what he thinks of the other options in no uncertain terms.
