I remember the father being concerned about that ---- but Roberto wasn't exactly on board with that opinion.

Roberto is more of a homebody - Ali is not - that is not a good mixture.

I don't think that's true at all - if it was, he wouldn't have moved across the country and uprooted his career for HERS. And, he wouldn't have tagged along to her many, many media appearances. From her interviews, I think that the main difference was that she was more outgoing and wanted to be out and about, and he was happier staying in and watching TV or something. Their lifestyles were just too different.

Good point. That is more like it. Our opinions have the same result, really. bestbud!

ITA, he picked up his life and an established business so they could live somewhere neither of them had ties and no career just so Ali could be happy. I think he wanted to make her happy and build a family with her and he just could never figure out how to make her happy or what she needed from him. At the end of the day, Ali is a beautiful girl who wanted to have adventures, travel, become famous, schmooze celebs and settling down with an insurance agent just didn't fit into her schema of the Ideal Life.

I think it is safe to say in most cases the lead has feelings for the final 3 that are somewhat equal.

I think that is the exception, rather than the rule. It does not apply to Tessa, Byron, Jillian, Ali, Ashley, Brad 2.0, Charlie, Jason, Ben.
It probably was the case for Travis, Lorenzo, and Matt.

Watching Ali on First Look right now. This is the third or fourth time I have seen this show and I have to say--she is good on it. She is a lot of fun and appears to be having fun. The show is ok--to my surprise and I am glad she found something she seems to enjoy.
But the amazing thing is my DH who begrudgingly watches or leaves the room during TB/'Ette, has watched First Look with me several times (and even recognized Ali as being from the franchise the first time he saw First Look). He likes Ali on this show, I was surprised he admitted it!

Thank you for this. I have always liked this girl and thought her season was one of the best. I have never understood the hate many have for her. That said, I hate Brad! To each his own. bestbud!
