My head is spinning here. Is it just me, or is she contradicting herself in every other sentence? Sentence #1: she answers that she didn't spill that Roberto was the one. Sentence #6: She told Roberto he WAS the one on their 1st date. Sentence #7: she would have told Roberto he was the one if Frank hadn't left. WHAT?

I don't think it's a big deal for Ali to admit, in hindsight that in the moment, she was immediately certain it was Roberto and refer to Frank as, "what if". I know I've had a what if or two and looking back, know those really didn't amount to much.

If Ali felt her relationship with Roberto was a mistake, I'd think they would have fizzled out much more quickly like other Bachelorettes who actually admitted making a mistake, such as DeAnna/Jesse and more recently, Em/Jef.

I don't know. Maybe Ali is hurt by R and she's just lashing out. When people say these things, I often think it comes from a place of pain and rewriting history makes the truth easier. Or maybe it's just Ali being her Bachelor self: Vienna vs. Ali, anyone?

Trista slept with both of her F2, that doesn't mean she loved Ryan less....I don't think Ali is hurt she is just being honest that IF Frank would have stayed, she probabbly would have slept with him also, it the nature of the beast with this show.....I don't see where her stating that as she is trying to hurt Roberto

Well, I would think if the lead were head over heels in love with F1 at the time of FDs....why bother sleeping with the F2? And if you did, I would say that discretion would make some sense. No need to share that detail with the world and risk hurting your fiance(e).

Funny thing is that she should have ended up with Jake. They both wanted the same things...a career in entertainment. They both live in L.A too.

I don't think Ali is trying to be mean to Roberto, or that it meant she didn't love him. We all saw how much she really liked Frank and we heard her downplay it soon after.... and IMO now, she's telling it like it was, and what many of us suspected was the truth. I can totally buy into a lead being torn between 2 people, especially under the circumstances they find themselves in when filming the Bach.

But Trista has never said publicly that she picked Ryan by default. If she had said about Ryan what Ali is now saying about Roberto, I doubt they would still be together.

I didn't get that Roberto was a default pick... just that it wasn't as clear cut as she'd said in the past. I'm not 100% sure she would have picked Frank when all was said and done, but she was attracted to him... that was very, very obvious by how she acted on dates and when she broke down when he left.

Are you sure about that? All the interviews I've read stated, if at all, that Ryan was the only one. Where did you see that?

I think it does confirm then the info from that season as opposed to the "it was love at first sight" spin. Do we think that Ashley did anything with Ben in that FS? During Ali's season, we were lead to believe that her and Rob were a fairytale; that she was over the moon about him. If that was true, there'd be no conversation now about Frank. Maybe the spoiler that she was with no one was b/c, in light of the truth with Frank, they didn't know if R and her would make it.

I'd like for Ali to find someone soon so that she can talk about him instead.
