Just saw the most recent issue of Improper Bostonian and Ali is on the cover! She looks great there and also in the full page photo inside. It's a question and answer interview. Thought you might be interested in seeing it. Thought her comments on "there's a lot of editing. They try to get you to do things." was most interesting

The wedding presents? No. People brought them as an acknowledgement of going to a big fancy wedding, and they did go through with it. The ring? Probably. Although I still have mine. Then again, Roberto didn’t pay for it. If he did, I would have given it back because it’s a lot of money. But what is ABC going to do with it? Mine means a lot to me. So I guess it depends.

Hmm. So Ali still has her ring, as does Jillian. I wonder if maybe Next doesn't enforce that part of the contract when it comes to the Bachelorettes? Maybe they only enforce it with the female F1s on the Bachelor?

Regardless of whether Next demands the ring back, I'm stumped and trying to understand why Ali and Jillian both wanted to keep them and how much they say it means to them? For me, it would be an unwanted reminder of a relationship that didn't work out, even if it was a (mostly) good relationship.

Really? Hmm. I must have been raised differently. I select and give a gift not because I have been invited to a big, fancy event, but because I want to celebrate the couple.

Maybe they are keeping them in case they end up in some sort of financial trouble while trying to achieve their dreams rotfl

Give them some fall back money to rely on.
