Sean is not inat all at this point .. Remember his speach in London??

Yes, I actually really liked it that he didn't get up there and say he was falling in love with her as we've seen many do in the past. He just stated honestly that maybe it could be there.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Lets talk about bromance and co.
It is funny and nice and not so surprising to hear each guys in their departure interview how much fun they had during the show, how many will remain good friends etc. Absolutely nothing strange with that. Put people in the same place, sharing the same experience or adrenaline and people will clic together and create a knit close clan. 24/7 weeks together and you pretty much know the good and the bad and learn to tolerate and compromise.
I am willing to assume that it was a great experience for all sharing this tv experience as adults. Once they are back to their cocoon normal life, I am sure they are happy but somehow they must miss this little manly experience (not talking about the villains here of course)
Now. I am interested about sean. Mystery sean I shoud say. Week 6, half season and I feel as if I know nothing about the guy.
The only guy who never kiss and tell during the show was sean. I have to admire that strength because it must have been hard to listen the others while he said nothing. That show a very attractive side of his personality. it looks that arie and jef shared between them at night. Why do I have this image in mind of a camp of young kids and them sharing a room and playing with pillows............. ohhhhhh right because they ALL did in the main area!!!
It makes me smile to think that they liked each other and had fun.
The one I have such a hard time to figure it out because the producers decided to not show enough of him is sean. I am still struggling to think that he is F2. I have no doubt he is a great guy, a great catch, physically attractive and has all the fantastic qualities to be a husband and a daddy. But the constant cut and edit in the interaction I see between emily and sean makes me wonder what happened during the M&G and early on. the kiss the same night allessandro was out and the famous staged kiss with arie in the corridor with ryan lurking. it was a bing bam boom I kiss sean. no preparation. no build up. done deal. I have no doubt she liked sean a lot. emily is no actress and we can see when she likes a guy or not. bu again sean for me remain a mystery. I know nothing from his past. I know nothing of his aspiration. Even after their 1:1 in london, it was very general conversation. but then I would say it is generally the case (pun intented)
Now... there is another option.
What if sean was cast with the promise to be F2 all along. What if sean was cast as ryan (sun energy) to go far. I know it is a bit stretchy but both guys are very good looking, excellent presentation, pretty much perfect from all aspects IMO. (yeah yeah perfect is a rude word on bach world). That would set him apart because he had to keep for himself and pretend. yeah I know.... the image does not fit much right? But if i go with this theory and lets say that both emily and sean knew. then we have the same kind of edits as ryan/energy. good friend, easy on the eyes, easy to kiss, easy to pretend. Of course we did not see the second 1:1 and the fantasy date. That will probably put my theory in the bin but i have this nagging feeling that sean is too good to be true. Is he a good genuine guy who really fell for emily? Is he a good guy hired to be on top 4 and turned to be F2?
If I wear my then I will say that the top 4 are completely genuine guys, none of them were hired with the promise to become next bachelor.
My suspicious mind says that either sean or arie were hired with the promise to be top 3. However people remain humans and I totally see the possibility that sean and arie fell in love and that was totally unexpected in their agenda. But here, I will also add Jef who also came for the fun.
I believe that Chris was an extra bonus for the producers and used. Knowing his insecurities and vulnerability, he was a great character to use in their scenario: the age factor, the need to love and be loved, the early 1:1 to put him in a bubble (and probably the whispers of the producers in his ears that emily liked him a lot blah blah blah).
Sean on the other hand, seem secure. nothing really matter when we watch him. very little PI, very little close up in groups,
Considering several SC, I will go with the genuine persona. Plus the sad eyes face at his return (pic with his sis at the mall).
If I look at the # of views of jef, arie and sean vids on youtube... unless roberto is already a done deal, I see arie next bachelor.
I also think that arie would provide way more material for the producers in all aspect. He is handsome so he will have a strong fan base (we see the over the top emotional that he inspires here every day), he looks vulnerable, he is easy with cameras, he follows the producers orders (walk here, do this or that), right age to justify his search of LUV, was totally in LUV with emily (I honestly think he was at this poin)... and he looks genuine which is very important to cast the bach position.
sean? unfortunately way too nice as ryan/energy to inspire passion.
but I am not worried ... seing the pics today, his happy face and all and still a very acceptable fan base (which will grow the coming weeks), he will have also a fine line of nice ladies ready to [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

You answered your own question, Shelby.
Ashley's TV Grapevine video: Mickey is #1 out of limos. Ryan Park #2, but edited first in episode #1.
Ashley's TV Grapevine video: Sean is #1 and not edited out of sequence. Arie is #2, but edited later.
Both Arie and Sean are bookends in the back row of meet & greet and equal distance in most rose ceremonies, often back row. I strongly suspect that BOTH guys were destined for top 4 regardless whether Emily "fell head over heels in love" or not... PRE-show. Arie has the race car storyline echoing Ricky (and supposedly another undetermined race car driver was being considered for the show) as well as the "hot" physical edit. Sean is the Tim Tebow that Fleiss wanted so badly.
Now... she could still "fall" for either, but both are clearly staying for a while regardless.

Emily has remarked that Sean is all in, and we don't have any questioning by Sean about the process or fear that he will be hurt. That is what we mean about Sean being "all in." Jef certainly held back until way into the process and Arie's past makes him a risk. Sean is definitely "safe" compared to both Arie and Jef at this point.nd4reality wrote:ILoveCase wrote:The F1 and F3 usually both have a "story arc" in the Risk/Reward vs. Safety pattern, which I am pretty sure is the pattern we are in this year. Right, what is Sean's storyline arc? We have the "is it too little, too late?" arc/story building with Jef and the "too much, too soon, is it only physical chemistry, can I really trust him?" storyline building with Arie. Sean's edit reminds me so much of Kip's during Jilly's season - not involved in the drama, Emily talking a lot about his body/looks, kissing instead of talking (I see this with Arie too), all calm and collected during interviews. I guess we will see a bit more to Sean's story this week with him going out looking for her, so maybe his edit will change a little.

I think Lindzi had very little storyline in Ben's season....that is what Sean reminds me of.
"My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dogs already think I am"
"God puts the right people in our lives when the timing is just right." - Jef
"Love is everything it's cracked up to be…It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for" - Nick
"What I felt for you was greater than a moment" - Nick
"I knew I loved you right away & I didn't even know why" - Ben
"You're my person" - Lauren

At least Lindzi had the "is she over her ex? can she go all in because of afraid of being hurt again?" thing going. And those issues were brought up many times during the course of the season. Sean has nothing that I can see. It appears that we will see something with him tomorrow, but it all seems so out of character (or the character that they have been portraying to us) to see him running through the streets calling Emily's name. Contrived drama?

At least Kip had a storyline - he had never been dumped; was always the dumper. I don't really see a storyline with Sean except maybe he's too perfect/compatible with Emily?missmilano wrote:

True, I forgot about that with Kip. I think we will see what the storyline really is with Sean starting on Monday night. One thing that struck me was when he and Emily were talking and he said he was selective and Emily said picky and then also when he said how long it had been since he dated. I can see where this could maybe come back into play during the end of the season.

Yes, miss, I can see Sean's words coming back to bite him. Emily has mentioned she's not perfect and maybe she thinks Sean is looking for perfect.
I'm interested in seeing the storylines for each of the final 3 play out.
