House Hunters has never made a secret of the fact that HH's are ONLY on the show after they have CLOSED on a house...

I believe TPTB know who will be a fan fave, because they're the ones making them a fan fave by how they edit, and have probably decided that all the way back to casting. I don't know if they let their lead in on that though.

These previews have many editing “goodies” that stick out.

Ugh! Not one, but TWO clocks are on Arie’s date. She is looking at them with more interest than he is, though.

Actually his date echoes Sean’s in London. She plays daytime tour guide. Sean was her prisoner of love in the Tower. Arie on some sort of boat? (John mentions the Bermuda boat on his date.) Alas… Sean may have been a prisoner of love on his London date, but Are is just plain G-O-N-E here, plotting which church to use for the ceremony. Ha ha! They are laying this Arie-has-to-be-The-One pretty thick here.

While Arie is all gooey-eyed over the cathedrals, the other guys are with the castle. Doug however wishes Austin was visiting the castle. We don’t know what happens to Doug exactly yet, but he can’t stop talking about his son. He was prominent during Tony’s sudden departure in episode #3 suggesting something similar happening here.

Arie is not opening up about Cassie.
Chris is not opening up about… something. He waits until the final rose ceremony.

Assuming Sean is the one seeking out Emily on the group date and gets the group rose, he must do the opposite of what Chris does on the same date. Chris looks like he’s panicking at the next rose ceremony.

John gets his picture taken with Emily in front of the wall, just like Sean (London) and Ryan (Dubrovnik) previously. Sean is spared as a top 3 finalist, but I feel this snapshot business is a kiss of death this season. Roberto got his picture taken in Lisbon, but I doubt we are getting Ali’s seasonal repeating here. She feels like she wants to remember her date with John since she won’t see him later.

John is accused of not opening up with his feelings, so Emily hopes their art at the John Lennon wall will get him to.
Jef must be like Edgar Bergen, also better expressing himself in an indirect way… through puppets. He proposed to Miss Piggy in episode #2. Here he has a marionette helping him.

Forgive me if this has been discussed (so many threads, so little time); but isn't it the usual story "arc" to have the F1 "overcome" a hurdle of some sort?

yes. perfect example is JP overcoming his fear to love again and not be hurt again. Jef is overcoming to kiss her.

What I bolded is called "doll therapy"--therapists use it a lot with children to help them express themselves and tell about their interactions with others.

Doll therapy! Hey! I learned something new today.

Speaking of dolls... Chris brought the bobbleheads on day #1... and she commented on being a Barbie expert.

Before allowing Arie to kiss her up against the wall, Emily commented "those dolls look creepy".

Maybe Brad's therapist suggested using "dolls" this season...they travel cheaper than a personal therapist!

i think I saw around midnight with jef. could not read the time with sean

the fairy tale saying ends jef intro, continue in prague, a magazine mentioned it 2 times in an interview with her

at first I thought about Cindirella but they also mixed the hare and the turtle in it somehow, although the 2 stepsisters could have been ryan and kylon. jef mentioned it another time in a PI I think
