Also I think the today show got their info on house hunters from this video MF talks about househunters in this video as well.
I still can't believe he had the balls to imply his show is real (mostly) and the others are mostly fake.

the house hunters vid came from contestants of the show who had already selected a house (and actually purchased it - I believe) and how they were set up to look at other properties to make it into an episode.

this isn't new- its been widely reported and there are a lot of folks who have said the very same thing - this is the first time contestants have actually gone on record to call out the show.

Sort of off topic, but years ago the message board I frequented had someone who was on the show. She said the same thing....they knew what house they were buying, the rest was all "made for TV".
I still enjoy the show though!

I had posted this in wrong thread but worth repeating because it is so true about editing.
We see what Fleiss and crew want the viewers to see with the edit. Tons left on the editing floor. They could have made a love story with Emily & Kalon if they had used certain cuts because I assure you they have plenty to work with positive & negative. In fact had the chosen to they could never have shown us what he said about baggage. Fleiss knew it would add drama. My cousin is married to a producer in LA (Dallas, Nip & Tuck, Boston Legal, etc) He has also been on the editing side of things. The story is created in the editing room! :yes:

I LOVE the show - I'm a voyeur when it comes to homes. I dont' care how made up it is. If I could sell right now and purchase something newer, I'd be on that like white on rice, but it's not a sellers market.

I LOVE House Hunters!! But what kills me is how some of them are so darn picky when on a very very low budget!!! And how some couples can't get past the decor to look at the bones of the house!!

Ok...on topic....I'm so glad I'm not attached this season (haven't been for a couple seasons now). It really does make a world of difference on how I view things. I like all the F3 and I can honestly say I just don't see it with any of them. When I say "it", I mean the real deal. Not just physical, not just friendship, not just mental connections...but all of it put together.

Mike F knows what he is doing...no doubt about it.

The edit that I am so used to seeing really doesn't match up with what the spoilers are saying.

By the logic of the old editing scheme this is how it should be if the spoilers turn out out to be true:

F1 Jef (the whole package)
F2 Arie (Chemistry)
F3 Sean (Better as friends than as a couple)

But then we have heard stories about how the lead doesn't take a fan favorite to the FRC because they (or TPTB) don't want the public pissed with them.So they take the one they know won't be the final 1 so it's easier on everyone and they let a fan favorite go at F3,

So what matches up for you (keeping the spoilers out) ?? Just curious because the edit hasn't been matching up for me at all.
