Love_Me - I remember this regarding Ashleys season also. The version they (the previewer) had was not the same as what was televised.

So more editing is done closer to the day of the premier.

Previewers get a copy that is is different from the actual production shown on Monday night. editing is not done last minute it has to go through an editing process that takes approximately a week for each episode the process takes a good week before ito or it to be approved before it can be shown a national television

So if they finish filming on the 10th or 11th, the first night's show will already be complete? They have to know her F1 by now, don't you think?? Has any lead ever mentioned TPTB knew ahead of time, that the lead actually told them?

My memory is not that great and I also never keep any of the past history like many of the posters/sleuthers on here do but I did get a feeling that ep 3 was edited by the time the season aired.
The reason I feel this was the case because it was discussed on here (similar to what we are discussing now) where the F2 (Both JP and Ben) had very little screen time and we were all suprised. Folks here pointed out that it was because the F2 were not known when the episode was edited.
This could obviously be the case in all seasons particularly the Bachelorette where filming ends mere days before the premier and in Jillians case, still not completed.

I believe he tweeted that before the finale had been filmed. I think it was like 1/2 way through the season. But my memory wasn't that great. I thought it was Millsy that tweeted that not MF?

They know by the end of the Fantasy Date for sure because they have to schedule the LCDs and the Parent Meeting. Now think back, nutty, and you will remember that the F1 usually gets one kind of LCD, and the F2 usually gets a different kind of LCD.
Actually, it is very ofter the same way with the Fantasy Dates all the way through Ben's season. The F3 has been getting the helicopter rides, the F2 does the activity, and the F1 does a ride (Courtney had train ride, JP had a seaplane, Emily had an elephant ride, Roberto some kind of plane to the heart shaped island, etc. That tells me that the producers usually know my the Fantasy Dates.

Okay, since we know who the F2 are, what do you guys think the storyline will be for this "love triangle" possible square with Arie still hanging around? We have a guy who by looks and on paper, barring financial status is perfect for Em. (Sean) Then we have the cute, lovable, boyish, possible friend-zone bound Jef. Arie possibly coming back strikes me as being suited for a Frank-like edit. Great initial connection with the lead that everyone is intimidated by. I still have my chart that one of the posters at FORT sent me, (forget the name, but thanks again!) We know that the story is already set because Fleiss was promising the most romantic season ever before filming began. We just need to figure out what story they are telling...

The lead and the true F1 always do have a private conversation shown in the first episode.
