then we should go straight to FRC after episode 3 you think? Lets petition the producers right about now as from now on, we only need 3 episodes and it is a done deal! cantstopl

where do you see me say that ? i think people are biased because they are spoiled and i am sticking to my opinion, with what we've seen since the beginning, Arie was the frontrunner
i think it's so hard to have a discussion in here  i understand those who quit the forum or lurk

i state my opinion based on what i see on my tv (pc, ipad laugh out loud) and i have the right to state my opinion whether you agree with it or not
going by episode 3, Arie was the frontrunner don't you understand that is my opinion and i have the right to state it, i don't need anyone to agree with me and i do think that the majority of the unspoiled people think so

PS : i don't need people to agree with me everytime i write something, that's not even possible

I asked this question in the F1 speculation but realized this was the place for it because it is in reference to the edit and could answer the reason of why it seems so strange this year.

In past seasons, HAS THE LEAD EVER SENT A PERSON HOME DURING A 1:1 IN THE 2nd EPISODE?

If the answer is yes, then I have no idea why the edit seems strange. If the answer is no, then it could explain the weird edit as it would entirely change tptb's story boards. Just talked it over with my son who is in television editing and according to him the story boards are very important to the progression of the story. If it changes early for some reason then the editors who thought they had the show all planned out and ready for the film to begin editing have to totally rethink the whole thing.

If the answer is no, then it opens up all kinds of possibilities.

Could this season be edited more in line with Trista's?

a lot of people think so. I was not lucky enough to watch her full season so maybe some veterans should share their thoughts on this, including yours :)

Hm, I wonder also about that statement I don't wanna screw up, like it doesn't fit there with her action. I mean she is going to kiss a lot of guys, she is going to screw up. LOL

Taking my pink glasses off... she may have said this at ANy time about ANYone, and the producers just put it there...

"Guys like Arie are really really hard to find and so I feel like I finally found him and I don't want to screw it up".

I'm a little confused. Is this the statement you're talking about, Sophie? I just watched it again and it appears to be all one continuous sentence. The VO is Emily mentioning Arie by name and when they show her she's still at Dollywood. While it's possible she could have been talking about someone else, it's unlikely because of the location & that it fits so seamlessly with what she was saying about Arie.

Word.

I was unspoiled the first episode and thought Jef was on Emily's radar from his intro and one on one time with Emily (Final ones usually have intros and their one on one conversations are always shown). Plus, he just looked cute with Emily, so I picked him as the Final one. giggling All of my friends except a couple are still unspoiled, and they think Jef is a frontrunner, so...

I think there has been enough to put Jef in the F4 if I look at how the guys are being portrayed. Looking at the edit, the remaining guys who have been shown to have any chance and/ or have had significant screen time are Sean, Jef, Chris, Arie, Kalon, Ryan, and Doug. The rest of the guys are just filler at this point. It's too late to introduce one of them as a legitimate contender, because there hasn't been enough in episodes 1-3 to justify them making it to the later rounds. For the seven I named, I see it this way:

Ryan is out. His edit is making him look too arrogant and obnoxious.

Doug is out. The edit is showing signs that he is too intense and might have a temper.

Kalon is out. The producers are making it obvious that he's just there for entertainment value.

So that leaves Arie, Jef, Sean, and Chris who are currently being edited to look better than the three mentioned above and have piqued Emily's interest. An F4 that works.

If I take it further, I can knock out Chris easily to get the F3 that has been named via spoilers. He is the only one of the F4 who has been shown to have a "flaw" that makes Emily wary (his age). Notice that Arie's "flaw" (being a race car driver and possibly reminding her of RH) is something that we saw Emily accept with no hesitation. On top of that, Chris seems a little too overeager and overawed by the whole thing. Like he's not seeing the "reality."

After that, you have Sean, Jef, and Arie, who could all legitimately work as F1 going by what we have seen to date. Future episodes will just build on that.
