Sweet Home Alabama Season 3 ~ Discussion ~ Spoilers

Jeremiah was the only one (I think) that asked Paige "how she was holding up" at their first meeting........the one at the combine. His concern was for her first and foremost. Then the paintball game he gave her his bandana so she wouldn't get a hit in the neck. Again his concern for her!! He is right words are a dime a dozen. He speaks with his actions and probably has never NEEDED to verbalize anything. Therefore he does "suck" at it...in his words not mine. I thought his conversation with her on the picnic table was WONDERFUL. It was unbelievably sincere and straight from the heart....I am sure I am not the only one that cried for him. I think we women, even if we know we are loved, want to HEAR it said. Jeremiah didn't need a dozen words to make Paige happy...he only needed those 3 little words. :)

Again in the upcoming preview...It makes Jeremiah look bad....grrrrr!!!

Bubba up to this point had NOT told Paige he was falling in love with her...and even then she had to ask Bubba " is there anything else you want to tell me" So why is it ok for Bubba not to tell her but Jeremiah it isn't.

So, I found this exchange kind of interesting. I've alluded to this before, but I'm pretty sure Paige/other leads get a huge amount of pressure from producers to pick the fan favorite; regardless if the lead has found love with the person or not.

Thank you! I'm happy it lasted too. Well I know sometimes the producers can talk people into picking who they think will be best and make the fans happy even if it's not love. I didn't really expect to find love but it happened and it's so wonderful!

That right there explains why they are both getting the edits that they are this season That's so unfair to them.

That is so sad!

I really hate the power reality editors have these days! I remember when Meredith picked Ian, the editors did highlight negative things -- his brother's warning, Ian's "vagabond" ways, Ian's inablity to say ILY (which is a big one and CH even tried to make him say it on the ATFR ). But by no means was Ian trashed in the editing like Jeremiah has been (or even Courtney who IMO is a bitch but not all bitchy) and The Bachelor still wished Meredith and Ian well and gave them a trip to Brazil. I think with the arrival of trashier reality shows that thrive on seeing how low they can go the editors of the rather normal reality shows now think they have to compete at that level for water cooler interest and ratings. And IMO that "keeping up with the trash" has almost ruined my enjoyment of even the mildest and most normal of reality shows. But when there's what I hope is a true love story it is satisfying to try to see around all the deceptive editing and find the true love story. I just hate that I can no longer just sit back and enjoy watching a love story unfold.

Shades of Jason and Molly??? I can see another alternative especially with Devin. She may have felt that none were right for her and let them guide her. Tribble was probably open because he was never serious about a serious relationship.

I'm going to see if I can find an email of some sort for CMT. Maybe some of the rest of you can look too. I know someone is watching the SWA facebook replies because they have replied a couple times such as about the changeover for Canada viewing but not necessarily someone that makes the hiring (producers) decisions on SWA. I wonder if they know that they can make their show the best if they try heartwarming and fun instead of attacks and keep the quality casts they are getting. That's why people have spread the word about SHA, not the drama - that's what increased their ratings. All the shows are going to have an extremely dwindling cast pool after B/B , etc. B/B jumped the shark - why would any reality show want to copy it?

Yep, unfortunately. And she just finished the finale and is proud of it.

I have officially completed& wrapped #SweetHomeAlabama ! Its been quite a journey and I'm proud of the show. Tune in friday for the FINALE!

You know Paige did give an interview before the season started were she used the word fiance Now she might have been saying this in jest, but I believe her and Jeremiah will become enganged one day. JMO

To me and this is JMHO, but the white thing looks like a flower that is in the background ( where they walk up towards her) instead of what's in his hand. I can't wait to see this finale. I truly hope Paige found what her heart and soul needed and that she is with him forever ( Jeremiah ) :bigsmile: She is a lovely woman.

@Lovedoves, I think you are right, it could be a white flower...in fact, in some of the finale screen shots. Paige has a white flower on her hair and in some she doesn't! JMO
