I just flew over the land of "unspoiled" and they have added contestant threads..Ben F doesn't have a single post in his thread

If he doesn't get any air time next week I'm going to be concerned for his health. It's like production brought him there to drug him and throw him in the background only to have enough guys at this point! When the drugs wore off they interviewed him so he would have a couple PI's..

LOL! Awesome. What I want to know if the spoilers are wrong, how are they going to explain them falling in love, especially after the Bentley disaster? I guess she could have learned to go for the sweet one after she got the badboy out of her system?

That's what I want to know. If Ben is F1, I can see the majority of my friends that are not spoiled going - "WHAT?????" At least with JP, they have shown some sort of connection from the first night and now they have a 1:1 date on Monday. Whereas, Ben does not get one for a few weeks.

How are they going to explain to the unspoiled viewers how he makes it to the F2 when we haven't seen him say more than one sentence to Ashley and drink a glass of wine out of the limo with her and it's already 2 episodes in? Bentley will be THE show this Monday and I doubt they will give him much screen time then either..

They don't care. Bottom line is ratings and revenue.
They throw their mains under the bus over and over. Same with the rest of the cast.
Anyone remember the crotch shots they blurred out of Shayne riding in Matt's car on her early 1:1? Who does that?? Jillian near about had a wardrobe malfunction in that lil nightie she wore on her FD with Ed. They emasculated Jake with Roslyn Pappas' issue with her producer infatuation. This hits keep comin'.
They don't care if it brings in ratings. Bottom line.

Nope, none!!

Slowly, but surely, all of my "nevers"/"always" are being blown away one by one, but here is the situation, folks.
In the edit (writing, drama, etc) there is an element called "rising action" that is part of the plot. It is just what it says. The action continues to rise until it reaches the climax. We have to have a problem (called a conflict) also which has yet to be presented which is then resolved.
Now, even if we don't see the F1 featured in the episode, we usually see a little cameo of him or her with the lead which contributes to the rising action.
We did not see that with Ben because we did not see ANY 1-1 time with Ben during episode 2.
We did see the little cameos with JP where we saw him in the coin-flip with Mickey and in the 1-1 interaction with Ashley during the pre-Rose Ceremony cocktail party; therefore, even though we don't yet have a problem or conflict in JP's storyline, we do have a rising action with JP.
We have neither rising action nor problem/conflict with Ben.

The editing format has changed greatly since Brad's first season, but prior really to Andy's season, very typically the F1 was pretty much hidden until the last episode before the Hometown dates. That is when the F1 had his/her 1-1. At that point, the F1's storyline began to really develop. Prior to that, we saw interactions in each episode between the F1 and the lead, but it wasn't enough to say, "Bam! that is for sure the F1".
Usually, they played up all the drama, and there would be strong emphasis on the F2, so that people fell for that old trick.

What we have now is they are emphasizing all the drama, and we are hardly seeing any of the F4 at all. We do see a little of JP and only camera shots of Ben and hardly anything of Ames and Dino.

We didn't see Ashley talking to Constatine, Ben F, or Ames during episode 2.

Is it possible that whatever contestants have a 1-1 date in episode 3 they have a 99.9 % chance of being the F1.

Forget the thrill date for a second. It seems like the contestants that have a 1-1 date in episode 3 become the F1 now.

Would it really be that simple? Have TPTB run out of ideas?


Correct me if I am wrong. Vienna, Roberto, and Emily all had 1-1 dates shown in episode three and all of them ended up being the F1.

So if J.P does turn out to be the F1 that is 4 season's in a row and next season just eliminate all of the contestants, but the two who have the 1-1 date in episode 3 and you have your F1 it seems.
