Bubba is really good friends with Cody Harris. Bubba posted on his Faith Cattle Company web page that he has been contacted by a New York publishing company to write a book, The Cowboy Code, How to Treat a Lady.

His weight loss may be a combination of things, hard work on the farm, a break up (Paige), and getting in better shape.

Wouldn't the show say by now if Bubba was the next lead? Wouldn't Bubba say if he's dating or not?

Bubba is still single. He posted it on his FB or something I saw. That was just in the last few weeks. He may end up on Bachelor 4 from what Jeremiah has let out of the bag from what I read.

Welcome - you were one of the few I'd see on the "Fort" and hoped you'd find this forum; and then when you do you bring great info. I'm sure we're all tickled for Little Shaun. Wonder if this is his way of letting his gal know so she backs out before he actually asks if she's going to? No way - I expect he'll get a big yes.

Not sure if this was posted anywhere else, but here is a recent update on season 4...the article is really a promotion for Southern Nights.

According to a CMT publicist, it hasn’t yet been decided whether a fourth season will follow. (This refers to SHA Season 4.)

I am very surprised they are stating they are not sure about a fourth season.I though SHA was one of the top rated shows for CMT.I wonder if that really means they are having trouble finding a lead for the fourth season.??? Maybe they counted on Bubba and he has turned it down.

While I do think Bubba would make a good lead, part of me hopes that he has turned it down. The producers of these reality shows can go overboard on how they treat and manipulate people. Who knows how much the producers messed with him, exaggerating facts about Paige's feelings for him. For all that they did to Paige and Jeremiah, and putting Bubba up on such a high pedestal in hopes he would be the next Bachelor, it would be rather gratifying to see him say screw you to the producers.

Can anyone find something about the ratings of this show and others that air on CMT? I could never find the ratings for SHA seasons 2 or 3. I know there was a press release about the ratings for season 1 being high though.
