Episode 9 - 3/16 - Sweet Home Alabama 3 - Discussion

Thank you so much! Guess I quit watching after the commercials started. This time I waited them out and there it was! This is going to be a looonnnggggg week. I bet CMT will start runnoing the promo tonight or early next week.

I captured the video from my screen and uploaded it. And I fully expect CMT to take it down and ban the new account I just set up. So watch it soon!

And :Woah-hoo: I just realized something. Isn't it at this point every season that the lead brings one of the cast that they are keeping to the talking place and lets them know that they are safe? And then the lead walks back to the gathering place to let the remaining person know that they are the one being let go and not the one that they just talked to? So, I assume St. Bubba gets told he's safe and Cowboy Shaun has been let go since we do see him sitting at the truck crying while he's being let go. So then it's down to Jeremiah and City Shaun and Boyd taps Jeremiah on the shoulder to make the long walk and everyone is in shock! And at the truck Paige stresses over the mind games that the producers have been playing on her and then stresses out Jeremiah about them, too! But of course she keeps Jeremiah and then she walks back to the porch to tell City Shaun goodbye!

Anyway, enjoy the preview video while it lasts!

These producers are good - they keeping reeling us in and getting us anxious! I still feel they decided during the edit stage to have a good guy/bad guy theme. I'm surprised they didn't make Bubba wear a white hat all the time but he looks even better in black. Jeremiah walked into the bad guy by process of elimination of the final few country guys and gave them a bit to work with. Little Shaun couldn't be a bad guy because he's too young and with Credit Card missing; and Shaun was good guy/bad guy all in one!!! and Landon in his way was a good guy (very serious about the process) and a bad guy. They probably have scenes of Big Shaun early on the cutting floor being funny and nice and we didn't get to see those either!

Still firmly in the Jeremiah camp but wish I could be a fly on the wall by many TVs during the next two shows - the audience will go crazy.

And, from what I remember, each of the four contestants go up to meet the lead during the F4. During Devin's season all the guys walked up to her and the pick up one at a time. They got to "choose" who to go first. I think Adam went first, he was safe. Then Collin - eliminated. Then Jason - elimnated. And finally Tribble went to see her and was safe.
Last season, Tribble had Jackie safe first. Courtney was eliminated. But instead of having Cassie eliminated first, he talked to Tristan. Tristan was safe, and Tribble, himself, left and found Cassie to tell her the bad news.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just sprouting random "facts" I recall.

Excellent recollection, dee. I had forgotten how SHA 1 went down.

I downloaded 2 programs today but neither is the one I used before on my husband's laptop when mine died in Dec. But I'll check it out and if it's much easier/better I'll let y'all know.

This is the first one I clicked on and it captured the screen well even though it was kind of crazy not to be able to see the video playing without moving the capture program to the side --
