Hint ~
One of the ways that producers manipulate the contestants to do what they want for the show ~
"Each season a small group of the contestants call me for advice after shortly getting off the show. This season was no different. In fact, almost every girl that called me for advice told me that production is hinting to them that they are going to make her the next Bachelorette."

As with so many things, there is the story told, and there is the story itself.

Hmmm I was thinking Jake the wannabe actor. I don't think Jakes is a big fan of RS either. Jesse Csincsak? He was the snowboarder dude who fooled DeAnna?

This is from InTouch so "friend" could mean anything including casual acquintance. This only sells if it sounds like a betrayal. Casual acquaintance doesn't qualify as a betrayal. InTouch is not the most reliable source.

Jesee Csincsak used to head up his own Bachelor reunions. Like Reality Steve, he is involved in a legal suit with Mike Fleiss.
One thing to remember is Emily doesn't exactly come from "the other side of the tracks" herself. Her own family has money.
Her family is into coal mines in West Virgina, I believe. They, like Ricky's family, own(ed?) a vacation home in Florida. They all spent time together in the summers when Emily and Ricky were youth.

Funny considering that none of the girls were going to be the Bachette since it is Emily. I wonder how they feel about it now?
TPTB always have multiple people in mind during the season who they think is a ocntender to be the next potential Bachelor or Bachelorette. They let them know of that potential but, they also know it's not a guarantee. Hence, all of them when the season is airing mentioning in post-elimination interviews that they would be willing to be the Bachelorette or their friends/family setting up immediate facebook fan pages for them to be the Bachelorette. It's also why they float the F4-F6 at recruiting events and mention them as the next potential bachelor/ette to get the reaction of who suitors would most be interested in being a contestant for. Even with Emily being chosen, the bachelorettes know they still have potential to th eBachelorette even if it's not directly after their season if they don't have favorites in the prior season, think bringin g Brad back for second chance because of not getting Chris L as Bachelor.
I don't consider it as manipulation or an excuse for people's actions on the show. You are responsible for your own actions and reactions to what is offered to you and goes on during the show. IMO

True. And this incentive (the chance to "star" in your own 25 show with hot girls/guys, while traveling the world) is critical to keeping contestants engaged in the competition aspect during the long weeks of filming, when they fret about their "connection", perhaps are not sure they could fall in love with the Lead, hate the other contestants, or miss their families and friends, worry about time away from work or whatever. That little birdie telling you that you are beautiful, make great TV, and would be a great lead someday, even if you don't "win" is working very hard to be sure motivation and emotions run high while the cameras roll. Because they aren't actors or actresses, and if they feign emotional engagement everyone can tell. That's how girls like Casey and Samantha get kicked off mid filming ... their lack of interest in the lead and the prospect of winning or being asked back to star in the next show contaminates the mood, and makes for even crappier television.

Luv that ^^^...MF as the "Mad Professor" with his test-tube of Lucky 21 (Lead + post M&G contestants=20)...germinating thru interaction....evaluated on the petri dish under a microscope....ultimately his results/Power Point presentation is exploited on national TV!

Her dad's house (where Emily grew up) in WV is as big or bigger than the mansion the guys are staying in, and her mom's place is very very nice too. They sold the house in Key West awhile back. Her dad owns a coal mine business. So even if she didn't inherit any of Ricky's businesses, or the house they lived in (which according to some sources is the same house she lives in now), she would have plenty of financial stability.
But I still don't see why anyone would think it wrong of her to want to make money from being the bach and the resulting fame. It's more than she would earn as a realtor (which she was during her time in Nashville), or as a pr person. (All of this info is from public records.)

Emily dad's house isn't as big as the Guys mansion, but It's still a very nice house, I believe trulia has it as a 5bd, 4 bath house with 8400 sgft. and is around $795,000. The house that Emily lives in was Ricky's house, he purchased it before he started dating. They actually lived in a different house together, then after she had Ricki she moved in to this house because the other BIGGER house reminded her to much of Ricky and also the house was way to big for just Emily and Ricki I have a pic of Her dad's house I don't know how to add it.

I've watched the "beatdown" shows, and during this past season of the Bachelorette, (when there were only two guests on the show), I think something very revealing was said. The former winner of the Bachelorette asked the male guest Richard if he would discuss the "switch" that happened during his winning season...Richard said that the Bachelorette was really interested in one guy who left (wouldnt communicate well? Wouldn't commit?)...The bachelorette then was told by production once her REAL interest left, to pick the real F4, who then became the winner (and now has a vendetta and a lawsuit against ABC). He said that production told the bachelorette to dump this winner six months later, (which actually did happen), and that the viewers wouldn't be upset. He appears to feel very hurt and used, because he had true intentions to marry the bachelorette, and thus the vendetta. At least that was the impression that I got.....I was wondering if anyone else saw this particular video recap???

i think you know who the guy is by reading all the posts already ;) but no, not Ed, it's Jesse C. the winner of DeAnna's season. too bad for DeAnna... no wonder the breakup was so soon. It's funny Jesse C also dated Holly Durst for awhile, and he made it very public on purpose i think.

Would you refresh my memory - who was the guy that DeAnna wanted, but left the show?
