When I posted that eyeroll emoticon about In Touch not getting the unofficial leaks from production this season, it was because I think this is the 2nd consecutive Bach'ette season in which In Touch will be punishing the franchise for cooperating with a rival mag by publishing malicious, character-defaming lies about what's going on.

In Touch was AWFUL to Ashley H and none too kind to JP either during Ashley's Bach'ette season. They posted transparently false stories, contradicted themselves with more false but somehow still negative stories the following week, and so on and so forth. They're just getting warmed up on Emily.

On the bright side, about 5 months after Ashley H's Bach'ette season had finished airing, In Touch featured Ashley H and JP on the cover with a flattering story (and real quotes from both) in what I can only imagine was a mutually agreed upon coming to peace.

This is the tabloid game that comes with signing on for this franchise as a lead or contestant. Most people don't feel comfortable getting into bed with the rags, but most feel like they have to eventually cooperate on some level to control their story and avoid the tabloids' version of punishment.

You know.. there is an "insider" who blogged for inTouch and used to be a contestant on the Bachelorette show. He's become so bitter about the producers and such that he publicly bashes him.. And he keeps calling Emily a golddigger. I won't name names, but I'm pretty sure you know who I'm talking about, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one giving these fake interviews.

Don't you get money for leaking information to these rag mags? I wonder who the golddigger really is... Hm..

He hates them because hhe thinks they ar ekeeping him from making money off the show, which is why he went on the show in the first place, not for love. TPTB have kept people to their contracts and prevented him from making as much out of his appearance on the show and connections with other past & future contestants from the show to make money. He calls other people a golddigger and maligns the producers and contestants on the show. Yet, he's still making money and a caree off the show doing shows about it, giving interviews, and writing blogs. Trying to make himself the next RS. They both are of the sme ilk maligning a show that they keep watching and trying to make money off of. Can't stand either person, total hypocrits. IMO

Do you mind saying what season this contestant was on? I think I know, but am not 100% sure.. I don't understand why anybody would call Em a gold digger for doing this show because I would imagine she has what money she needs. After all, the same people that say that about her so quickly reminds everybody that she's living off the Hendrick's money and has plenty of it. Double standards, if you ask me......

I, too am a huge Emily fan, but I also know I have to be thick skinned about the things said about her. One of my best friends and I have gone around and around about Ben ( she was a fan, me not so much) and Emily ( I'm a fan, her not so much ), so I guess it's mind turn to turn the other cheek this coming season. LOLOL

As far as the rag mags go, I wouldn't waste a dime on any of them other than when they have a photo cover of somebody I really care about and that's People's. I bought the one that had the Brad and Emily cover to put up and keep. The others, I wouldn't believe anything they write. That's sad , but true..
