BTW, I don't care about Emily's 'baby mama' status. It's just that people get so self righteous regarding leads/contestants, I'm curious about the lack of outrage. It's not a cardinal sin to skinny dip yet people were ready for a Salem Witch Trial when Courtney and Ben did it. I still see her being called a skank and a slut on every article that is posted on the web. Despite the norm now, there was a time when that was shameful and if Emily weren't 'pretty' and, what people perceive to be as syrupy sweet, she'd be getting the same label. Folks just need to be consistent with their moral crusades and tirades.

I think it will be interesting. I didn't think that Emily's tone/demeanor with Brad was particularly sweet or attractive during Brad's season - before or after the show - especially not at the ATFR. Of course there will be the edit to beat all edits so who knows what will really go down.

BTW, producers have hand picked a number of bachelors/bachelorettes and have had disasters/duds. But, I'm sure they are going to try their best to give the people what they want this time.

My impression of most of the outrage, at least on this site, was not due to the skinny dipping as an activity, but as a poor choice for someone in Ben's position, where he was supposedly keeping an open mind about all 10 or so women he was trying to get to know. Courtney's vilification, IMO, was because it seemed a coldly calculated way to capture him sexually, thus "winning." But as for skinny dipping, who doesn't like to?! About Emily and the lack of outrage about her single motherhood, maybe she isn't getting racked over the coals because most people can't throw stones in that area. I'm not a big Emily fan, am actually rather ambivalent about her season, but unless she proves otherwise, I see her in a totally different category than the way Courtney 'seemed' to be!

Wasn't Blakeley more overtly sexual than Courtney? The women in the house harassed her until she hid in the luggage room. She was upset about being called a stripper but was also caught in footage of giving another woman a lap dance in a bar after the show. Kacie B played the cutesie Southern sweetheart but then was dropping F'bombs in the limo.

Courtney was a seductress? With the baby voice everyone hated? Aren't some people still cringing over Trista's baby voice from her season of The Bachelorette? I just think that people are easily influenced and misled and live to find the villian/ess in all seasons. Yes, she said some "MEAN" stuff but so did a whole lot of the other women. The way some of them are acting now on twitter proves that they aren't the pristine creatures who were victims of a black widow.

The problem all along was that Ben zoomed in on Courtney from day one. We know that most leads do this. They have to choose their top 4 the first night. I kinda figured it was her in week 2 (or whenever they were in SF and he met with his sister) when he tried to list off the girls to Julia and he tried to casually mentioned that one was a model. He was already fixated then. Other women can tell who a guy is interested in. They tried to do to Courtney what they did to a couple of the other girls and her claws came out. Whether I liked him or not, at that point, I probably would have REALLY given them a reason to hate me. After hearing that Emily was badmouthing me to Ben, I wouldn't have just had her hiding in the luggage room, I would have had her hiding in the luggage. LOL! To me that's not mean. It's making sure you back off, leave me alone and go away!

I'm usually going to be on the side of the bright educated woman over the 'model/actress' but Emily played herself and I would have been so pissed, I would have had a flame to her behind as often as I could ... or at least I'd like to think that I would. LOL! The women band together as girl scouts when they know they have no chance. Lindzi was never perceived as a threat because no one could really see the chemistry between them despite her going far. But, I'll bet had they come after her she would have had something for them.

In any case, I like Ben's hair but maybe that's because I live in northern CA and it's not all that odd to me. He's not on Wall Street or in the financial district in San Francisco. He looks like one of the 'types' of 'normal' guys who live here. It's not down to his behind. It's not in a ponytail or braid. It's not dread locked or dyed some strange color(s). I don't find it distracting at all. Lots of people look like him. Glad he's not controlling it w/pony tail a holder having a top knot atop his head.

Back to Emily... :halo: One thing I really enjoyed about Brad's season were the video blogs the contestants did talking about their dates & what was coming up next. With the increased media coverage in advance of the season and everyone tweeting up a storm, I wonder if TPTB will have Emily's guys do the video blogs? It would be one more way for us to sleuth the F4.

I'm not sure that those of us who pay attention need to sleuth as we'll know as we go along. Only people who wait until May will be clueless. The video logs would just be nice add ons.

Millions of people paid attention in Brad's season and thought he chose Chantal. Millions paid attention in Ali's season and thought she picked Chris. Not sure I'd consider them clueless.

Just meant that there are millions who don't read spoilers/go on message boards or twitter. We are going to find out either way - be it from Fleiss or Reality Steve. People liked the Vlogs during Ashley's season and they would be nice during Emily's ... once the show starts airing.

I have no interest in seeing Bentley. Not sure why he went on the show. I know there was a lot of producer manipulation and he may not have been as bad as he seemed but I don't think we need to insult Ashley further by bringing him back or waste Emily's time.
