Huey Lewis is now deaf .. and is not able to hear musical differences .. and is considering a CI!!







Lewis was diagnosed with Meniere's disease after he heard a sudden roar that no one else heard while backstage at a private show in Dallas in 2018. The condition affects the inner ear and causes vertigo and hearing loss.Jan 30, 2024

What a shame, especially for a singer/musician! I get occasional positional vertigo but lucky it's not from that. I wish him well.

@Jeepers @albean99 If you have Netflix, I highly recommend watching “The Greatest Night in Pop” a new documentary about the making of the “We are the World” video. Lots of great moments, but Huey Lewis is featured, and he is so humble and sweet. He was one of my favorite parts of the documentary.
