why not just make it a bachie in paradise style show then?! why 3 men to 30 women? its so regressive when you've axed the 'ette, so its all about men picking women only.

@leavers Yessss I much prefer the Paradise format.  The old Bachie of romantic candle-lit dates is dead; might as well make this new mutation a free-for-all-hookup-trashfest

Interestingly, Warners was calling for single men 40+ back in March.  Perhaps they were trying for a silver fox cast but didn't get enough applicants, so have opened up the field?

@GuardianAngel NOPE!  Never heard of the guy.  And SD's source made his casting sound extremely tokenistic...

According to our insider, Channel Ten want The Bachelor “to be more wholesome” this time around.

“So they’ve brought James along as one of the Bachelors to try and tick off some diversity,” they confessed.

“James is bisexual, so they’re having contestants of both sexes.”

According to the source, Ten are “trying to do more” to boost viewership and ratings.

“He will also be the first Bachie with a disability, so it will be interesting to see how that goes.

“He’s Indigenous too, so it’s basically another Brooke Blurton but male and with a disability….”

...which is typical of Ch 10, but should still make for a more interesting show than another straight white sporty dude.

Sounds more of the same. Let's just get all the latest hot trends...bisexual  (or whatever other sexuality you want. No doubt there will be some other type of sexuality...transsexuals are all the rage.) Disabilities are trending. And he is indigenous.  Trifecta!!!

Some one will probably be bullied. Maybe a nice eating disorder.  Broken hearted and insecure...a must!!! Let's see just how many trending stereotypes  we can assemble to make this train wreck!!!

- the weirdo
- the stage 5 clinger
- the group of 3 "mean girls"
- the virgin/never had a boyfriend
- the children's entertainer/disney princess
- the self-described "strong, independent woman"
- the bisexual girl who mentions it at every opportunity
- the overtly sexual girl who really should get some therapy
- the girl who's clearly only on the show to make her ex jealous
- the grifter who thinks being on the show will make her instafamous
- the sweet girl who social media maintains "must be protected at all costs"
- the mildly bitchy girl who bills herself as a "villain" in an attempt to get airtime
- the normal girl with a real job who seems too sensible to have signed up for the show
- the girl with the tragic backstory who works it into conversation at a really awkward time
- the model sick of people judging her on her looks who actually loves being judged on her looks
- the single mother who claims her kids are her entire world, while leaving them at home to go on a dating show
- the girl who's been burned before and is scared to open up, then laments not opening up when she swiftly gets the boot

Leads, must:
- be slightly skeptical at the start, but trust and be open to "the process"
- have screwed half of Tinder but now be ready to find... drum roll... THE ONE
- never have met someone like this and/or felt this way after such a short time
- make it known they are falling for multiple women by mid-season at the latest
- be torn with indecision between F1 & F2 who are "so different" to each other
- immediately then turn around after the FRC and claim it was "always" F1

and they say these shows aren't scripted! lmao
