Finally got around to watching all 3 episodes of this season yesterday. (Having a cold and being confined to bed is good for something, apparently.)
Since I'm spoiled, I paid attention mostly to Paige's interaction with Jeremiah. I think they're adorable together, and I initially picked him for Paige even before the spoilers, since they both live in Minnesota. Hopefully, that will help them last longer than their predecessors.
On another note, I'm over the city/country trope. It's nothing but an excuse to drag out a bunch of tired, old stereotypes, and it adds nothing of value to the show, IMO. I really hope they'll start to move away from that in future seasons.

OMG - Todd was annoying the heck out of me! I'm surprised Jeremiah hadn't punched him yet. LOL, why would a tractor date, which he (Todd) didn't even go on, affect him so much? He was so over the top, it was ridiculous. Producers must have told him that if he didn't stir up the drama he wouldn't get his 5 minutes on screen or something. No dude would ever spend so much time harping on another dude about the "book of love" and what he deems romantic, especially, when they're trying to date the same girl.Archer23 wrote:Finally got around to watching all 3 episodes of this season yesterday. The producers didn't throw it in our face this much last season. Why do the guys have to be split into teams for these group activities? It's not as if the "winning" team gets more time with Paige. It only serves to illuminate a faux rivalry between the two. I wish they'd tone it down and focus more on the dates. :nuzzle:

When RS posted that Samantha was previously on a really awful Jerry Springer game show ("Baggage") and gave the website, I went over to check it out. On one of the first pages of video clips of episodes, lo and behold, was Todd! I didn't bother to watch it, but it just reaffirmed that he's only looking for tv time any way he can get it.
Yucky.

Okay...not being spoiled as to each of the guys, I now find this episode disingenuous when Jeremiah talks about farming being his life. He never mentions a singing career which apparently takes him to LA a lot. Who takes care of the farm in his absence? He told Paige that he didn't date a lot because he didn't have anyone to take over for him...what is the truth with him?
Just watching the show without knowing and then reading brings me down a bit.

On twitter, Paige mentioned that they talked about his music career, but they never showed it! I think the show just wants to paint Jeremiah as a farmer for now. I'm sure it'll come up eventually, since he does write a song for her.Molly wrote:Okay...not being spoiled as to each of the guys, I now find this episode disingenuous when Jeremiah talks about farming being his life.
