Apparently, on BHH Michele announced that she is taking a break from teaching. As a fellow teacher, I totally get it. The job is very difficult, and the pandemic made it only tougher. IMO if she can pull a good income doing other things, there's no reason not to take a break for however long.

I was in the classroom for more than two decades. Now I'm in a (much easier) specialty teaching field. I'm so glad that I no longer have the constant stress and overwork of classroom teaching. I think this will work well for Michelle, and give her a much-needed respite.

I don't blame her for taking a break. She deserves it.

I feel for all teachers, I don't know how they do it. I know a few teachers that I'm very close to, it's very stressful and getting worse.
