Bachelor 26 - Clayton Echard - FRC - What Happened? - NO Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I thought we could use some fun with the FRC coming up in the next two days. Post your opinions/theories on what happens with Clayton's finale. You can be serious or totally out of this world. Add GIFs if you like by using the icon in the reply box, two icon's before You Tube. Simply search a word or two, example lonely man, and choose your GIF.

One of the things that has caused several final 3 contestants distress is the lack of time allowed for post-breakup conversations. Anyone not chosen has little processing time during filming and has had to wait until AFR.
I think we might see everyone given some breathing room then 1 or more, maybe all, of the women being given time to talk out their feelings with Clayton while still in Iceland.

Didn't see this thread until now so I'm bringing my theory.

On Teddi's extra interview she gives a lot away, at least for me. She says Clayton makes more bad decisions. I think Rachel except the rose but he break up with Gabby by his choice or her choice. Decides to give it a good with Rachel, she meets the parents. Jesse visit to him is about Susie which then he breaks it off with Rachel (pics of her crying). I guess it's possiblity he could propose to Susie and she turns him down (via RS) but if so he didn't give up on her. Nick said it will be the most talked about finale ever. Clayton said he is preparing himself for the backlash.

I truly believe he's with Susie. She was asked by Becca and Serena who brought the most drama, she laughed and said Clayton, that made me go hmmm, she said that like it's a joke between she and Clayton.

OK, here goes:

I think that at the RC Gabby leaves after hearing the news, and Rachel returns and accepts Clayton's rose (???), since we see her with a rose on the ground crying.  But, not surprisingly, it was a reluctant acceptance because the next day Clayton sees his parents and tells them that "no one wants to be there".  

Feeling just peachy after hearing his dad's "you screwed the pooch" speech, Clayton goes to see Rachel and Gabby in an effort to convince them to give him another chance.  Rachel agrees, but Gabby says she doesn't believe a word he says and bows out.  Rachel goes to visit Gabby to compare notes, and say goodbye.

Since we see Clayton and his parents in two different outfits, I think one is when he introduces Rachel to his family. Things go surprising well and Clayton and Rachel leave his parents feeling hopeful that maybe things can work out between them. Back in his hotel room, there's a knock at Clayton's door. Jesse arrives to tell Clayton that Susie wants to see him.  Clayton fees bad about the way he treated Susie at their dinner the other night, and even though he has gotten things back on track with Rachel, he misses Susie so he decides to see her.  Susie feels bad that she gave him an after-the-fact ultimatum and asks him if he's willing to continue the journey with her. He tells her "you're everything I've ever wanted". He introduces Susie to his parents at some point.

Clayton and Susie have a LCD and a do-over FSD. Sex is had.

The next day Clayton goes to see Rachel and tells her that Susie returned and that he loves Susie. Clayton breaks up with Rachel and we see Rachel bawling (I think this is not the same hair/clothes as the RC after FSD, although I could definitely be wrong).  

Producers encourage Clayton to propose to Susie, and he's feeling it too. Neil arrives, Clayton proposes, Susie says no. Something Susie says suggests that sexual incompatibility might have something to do with it (jk, but maybe not).

The End.

mbl   I love your storyline for the finale...especially the ending! It gave me a laugh.
I feel bad for Gabby and particularly bad for Rachel under any circumstance based on the previews alone. I would love to see Susie deny Clayton's proposal based on sexual incompatibility. That ending is the only thing that could salvage this season for me.

MY feeling is a bit [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]ish. We see Clayton say at the F3RC "I love both of you and I was intimate with both of you and I also loved her". Fireworks, tears, drama. Gabby tells Clayton where to put it and leaves. Rachel, thinking she is the only one left, accepts Clayton's rose.

So we know Clayton must face the music with his parents, who are less than impressed with their oldest son (who was up until now, their shining light). Hence, "you screwed the pooch" talk by Dad. Mom looks horrified as if "how am I ever going to live this down. Rachel and Clayton meet his parents and Clayton must decide what to do about the LCD with Rachel. Does he love her enough to propose when he thought Susie was the one? Would Rachel's Italian father come after him with a mob when he finds out he had sex with his adult daughter, who is the light of this dad's life?

But in true bachelor dramatic fashion, a knock on the door changes everything. Jesse is there to tell Clayton that Susie is still in Iceland want wants to see him. Clayton must postpone his date with Rachel - he sends her a note indicating that something unexpected came up and he'll see her the following day instead. Clayton presents Miss Virginia, aka Susie, to his parents after explaining that she fortunately had a change of heart and is willing to work things through with Clayton. Clayton is relieved except he has to tell Rachel. But before he can do that, another unexpected knock on the door and Rachel says "I'm dumping you, too".

So now, Clayton is in his head and Susie is filled with confidence as they approach their final date, maybe it's a hybrid FD/LCD but we all know that Susie is not going there, no matter what the date is called. So Clayton must decide should he propose not knowing if he and Susie are sexually compatible? What a dilemma! Neil Lane shows up with his display and Clayton, thinking of the movie "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days", wants to choose a spectacular one for Susie, so she will be wowed by his sincerity.

The final scene is Clayton standing on an ice floe somewhere in Iceland, looking nervous, forlorn, expectant - a mix of emotions. He sees a car approaching the FRC location but it stops and goes no further. And we will find out if it is Susie or just another note saying 'see you later' on the second night of this fiasco finale. And thank goodness we can finally say goodbye to this mess. Jesse will try to reassure Clayton that most bachelors look foolish on their journey to find love. ?Hey - look at me now Clayton - I'm married and have several hosting gigs! Don't be too down!"
