Ratings:

The home of “America’s Got Talent”, NBC, ruled Tuesday as usual with part one of the season finale scoring 7.16 million viewers and a 0.9 rating/7 share in adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. Competing “Bachelor in Paradise” on ABC tied in the demo, with 3.04 million viewers (#3).

Andy is such a great cohost. He's right imo you start to dislike someone twice. He talks about the "execution" when Jesina told Ivan she's going to check out other guys, and gave her credit for how she told him. Thomas imo did the same thing with Tammy but the end result wasn't the same as far as behaviour. The whole best friend thing was so desperate. Her reaction to Thomas' imo mature explanation, was childish. She insists she's willing to fight, no no as per Andy paraphrasing when someone tells you very clearly how they feel you don't try to convince them otherwise. As usual, a good listen.

I hope they don't drag out the Joe Kendal connection because I'm tired of it. Sharleen thinks she got a "sweetheart deal" because why go through the "emotional torture."

I'm looking forward to seeing where Tia and Blake go. Interesting that Sharleen thinks they may have had a conversation before hand at 1:05 when Tia said she thought people are going to think they've known each other for a long time.

Re the ratings, no chance to be number one against America's Got Talent but interesting the demo's were tied.

I was in and out of watching because of recall election results here in CA, but did finally watch the entire thing (taped it). I am angry with Brendan all over again because I think his behavior managed to screw up any chance of Natasha and Dr. Joe. I loved, loved their date together til Brendan's name came up and the whole atmosphere changed. Truthfully, I am kind of over Tammy. She's got a lot going for her but damn the desparation was not a good look. I am cautiously optimistic on Thomas now...laugh out loud. I was so wrong about Brendan, I figure I should re-assess my thoughts on others. Kendall is still my girl...I know she probably should leave, but I cannot fault her feelings. I like Riley, but the whole whipped cream thing for the world to see was...a LOT. I like that Wells gave Natasha a rose. I know it's inside perks but to me, she is worthy of it.

I'm glad that Brendan & Pieper were finally confronted, even if by a small group, and decided to leave. Neither of them did themselves any favors and came across as unlikable the whole time. Very glad to see the last of them, Demi, and Tammy. Buh-bye. hi

Tammy really didn't get any sympathy from me. She did exactly the same thing with Aaron. I thought Thomas handled it well and her response came across as desperate. I like him with Becca and would like to see more next episode.

I don't dislike Kendall at all but she just needs to leave. I hope it's just being in Paradise that's setting her off because you'd think she'd be over Joe by now. As others have said, she could have tried living in Chicago but I don't think that's changed.

I hope that Dr Joe can meet someone else but it's not looking good at this point. I'm sure he must see now that he was being used by bringing him in so late when the only really available woman just happens to be the one who his buddy, Brendan, did wrong. I liked the date right until it came out about Brendan.  Upset I do have sympathy for Natasha and I think she learned an important lesson from the experience. I'm glad she got another chance with a rose.

I liked Tia with Blake (who is he?) but do feel bad for James. James wouldn't be my type either but he seems like a nice guy.

I loved seeing Joe & Serena express their feelings. It was such a real, sweet moment after all the drama. hearthumbsup

I thought it was interesting that Brendan said to Pieper something like "I told you I didn't want to come here." Implying that Piper had persuaded him. That suggests a major degree of coordination beforehand. Too bad--because Brendan came across so well in the earlier season.

Serena has to be such a fun person to be around. Funny, so much energy! Understandable how she would self-eliminate in dour Matt's season. Still, 12 years is a big age gap with Joe.

I like Dr. Joe, and at 37 he is presumably ready to find someone. Maybe he can come back next season.

@albean99 You're not the only one asking, laugh out loud Blake Monar was on Clare's season and was eliminated week 2. I had to look that up. I remembered the name because initially while sleuthing I kept getting him confused with Blake Moynes.

Dr. Joe brings out my inner matchmaker. I want to see him fixed up with one of the Bachelor beauties! It's a shame he was brought on so late in Paradise, but perhaps that's the only way he could make it mesh with his schedule. He was having such a nice conversation with Natasha (up until Brendan's name came up,) and he was bringing out her fun, playful side.

What are the chances of Natasha have a date with Dr Joe who just so happens to be Brendan's good friend? Set up for sure imo.

My initial reaction last night when I saw his facial expression's is he realized he was set up by TPTB and not necessarily anything to do with what Natasha told him. They must have cut out a lot because I don't think that conversation was detailed enough for Dr J's demeanor to change. jmo's or maybe he didn't know about Brendan and Piper. idk just seemed off to me.

It was actually Pieper who said to Brendan that she told him she didn't want to come. It was when they were sitting next to each other deciding whether to leave or not.

Not the biggest thing, but more accurate.

Bachelor in Paradise: 709 (9/21)

“709” – There’s more than one storm brewing this week in Paradise. Picking up right where we left off, a devastated Kendall shares a tearful confession with her former beau, but a coupled-up Joe just can’t tell her what she wants to hear. Then, guest host Lil Jon attempts to turn up the heat, bringing in two new guys who are ready to make up for lost time. Meanwhile, some couples are taking it to the next level while others hit stumbling blocks, but things only get more complicated as clouds roll in and Paradise is forced to take a break from the beach. When the clouds part, even if there isn’t a lot of damage from the storm, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a mess to clean up on “Bachelor in Paradise,” TUESDAY, SEPT. 21 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. (TV-14, DLS) Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu.
