Just saw this on reddit. Looks like a super generic pick. I'm not excited.

I just checked and that appears to be his parents’ home.

I don't know anything about Clayton but I'm kind of disappointed because he's another white guy.

(UPDATE): It is official. Clayton Echard is the next Bachelor. He is from Michelle’s season. So he’ll be 3 weeks into filming his season before you ever see him on your screen. I know so many times a potential lead was sleuthed to be filming prior to the announcement only to be told they went with someone else, but I think this is going to stick because of the timing. I don't normally change the name of the threads until it's officially announced, but it looks like it will be awhile.

I'll change the names on the threads but won't be surprised if it ends up to be someone else.

Clayton is very good looking, and seems like the type they would go for. Didn't someone say that the new Bachelor has an interesting backstory? I don't think we've seen anything on Clayton yet that is terribly out of the norm.

Yes he certainly fits the typical mold that they normally like to choose for Bachelor anyway. Not sure he has an interesting heartwarming story compared to what we knew of the other contestants like PJ and Jaimee. I guess we will see soon enough how he is or appears to be.
