I know so many times a potential lead was sleuthed to be filming prior to the announcement only to be told they went with someone else, but I think this is going to stick because of the timing. I don't normally change the name of the threads until it's officially announced, but it looks like it will be awhile.

Agree.. We'll just have to wait and see . If I remember correctly they did this with Jo Jo and Caila , Caila was seen filming intro's all around her home and the town and last minute they went with JoJo. So nothing this franchise does surprises me anymore. jmo

Don't want to diminish the fine qualities I'm sure Clayton has BUT the fact that he is from Missouri and probably very polite (read does what the producers want) can't be ruled out. That alone makes me leery of the season.

I know I'm jaded but this is like a parody to me. So cheesy.

I know the filming schedule is all messed up but why couldn't they do the normal filming around town, why plan this type of scene as if he's the new mayor rolling into town?

He's good looking for sure, but to me as I said somewhere around here "visually that's TPTB's type" and I don't care what they say about diversity.

I'm looking forward to seeing the contestants they choose for him.

However I also wasn't thrilled to hear about his mom's postings and wonder where he stands on a number of things. I am sad because I thought that maybe tptb had moved beyond all this. I should know they are probably incapable of doing so.
