Why do they feel the need to put exes on the show? I don't understand it.

Josh is British, from Kent, England (He's wearing a Tottenham Hotspur Football Club shirt in one of his Insta photos, so I can't hate that!) He served a mission for the Mormon church. During his mission he was involved in the cleanup efforts for Hurricane Sandy. During Maquel's season, there were reports that his family is very wealthy.

He intrigues me, but if he's still an active Mormon, the chances of anything happening with Katie are dim. He did mention in an interview that Maquel is very religious.

Why in the world do they go searching for previous contestants exs??? Unless he applied on his own, but that just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe because I don't trust them.
