They are so lucky. When we were there Venice was packed with tourists...and thieves...hence my stolen passport and credit cards. If I ever get back there, it will be in the off season.

@chasus71 thanks so much for bringing all the pics over! I'm so jealous. I hope I can get back there.

@Sprite I think off season would be a good idea too. I've been to Italy three times and each time is was in August. It's far too hot and Rome was wall to wall people.

I'm envious of anyone who can visit Venice without all the tourists! Hubby and I started our honeymoon there and proceeded to make our way through Italy. It is our favorite travel memory!

It looks cold - too cold for me to enjoy eating gelato, although it looks so good. I can only imagine how much food Matt must be ordering. What a special time for them.

@Norcalgal The weather isn't too bad. 10 - 13 degrees celsius during the day (50 -55 fahrenheit). I wish that was the temperature here!

@Sprite You got the -13 C part right. That was our temp today.

@Norcalgal sounds like a fabulous honeymoon!

Here is a long interview with Matt. Since he didn’t do much press after the show, this might be the first time he has talked about some of it.
It’s interesting that he says he regrets the breakup and that he has apologized to her for it (starting at 10:00).

I love seeing the Venice photos! I want to go back to Italy so much! We did a great cruise that did 3 stops in Italy (plus other countries) and then ended in Venice. It was my favorite and it was in mid-May so wasn't too hot or crowded, although way more than in their pics.

That was a really interesting interview! Thanks for sharing it, @blueblues. I feel like I know Matt more than I did after a whole season.
